Chapter 11

Back at home & Junhee is asleep in her bassinet, Dahyun kept looking at the birth certificate with a smile on her face & then says, "you're finally safe at home Junhee, I won't let anyone hurt you. I promise." Junhee Laura is finally hers at last, but what's more tough is keeping her safe from her father

Dahyun then hears a knock on the door as she gets out of her room & walks to the door as she wasn't expecting visitors at all, so she then opens the door & sees Changbin arriving at her place to surprise the blondie, but why exactly?

"Changbin, what a surprise," Dahyun said as she's really shocked to see him visit her, but again, why? Is it because of last night? Well, let's kind of be real here : that's more likely the reason or in hopes of her not killing herself at least

"Wait, how'd you know where I -" Changbin stopped Dahyun as she was about to finish her question & he answers, "from Momo. Don't worry, I don't have any weapons on me." She chuckled at that line as she lets him in, but she then closes the door & asks, "so, what brings you here?" "Thought I'd check up on my sunbae." "I'm good really." "So where's the little baby?" "She's sleeping in my room." "She doesn't have her own room?" "No, but I do have a bassinet that I stole from my neighbor"

Changbin chuckled as he found that joke funny. I guess since this had something to do with Momo, maybe Stray Kids found out about Dahyun's secret situation & how it was found out by the public in a significant way

"So, what do you want to do?" "Maybe we could you know, chat a bit." Dahyun looked a bit confused as to why they wanted to talk, but after much consideration, she offers Changbin to sit down as they start talking on the couch

"So umm, what do you want to talk about?" "You." "Wait, why me?" "Look, I just want to make sure you're okay." "I'm fine really"

Is she really? If that's the case, then the lie detector determined that was a lie. Truth is she's not okay. Dahyun is still traumatized after last night & is literally scared right now, but all she could think about was protecting Junhee at all costs, but then, as she's getting the the look from Changbin, she starts to take a deep breath & then looks back at him before speaking

"Physically, yes. Mentally, no." "Is it because you're scared?" Dahyun can do absolutely nothing but nod her head & stare at him & blinks her eyes instantly

"Dahyun, listen to me, you don't have to be afraid. I mean sure you got a baby to look after but has that ever stopped you?" "Of course not, but what if I'm not a good mom?" "Don't say that nonsense. You're gonna do great, trust me." "Promise?" "I promise"

That's what Dahyun needed : support from someone who isn't a member of Twice. Her motherly instincts have grew even more bigger as she's not gonna stop loving Junhee. I mean come on, this girl was trusted by her biological father's sister to protect her & keep her safe & so far, it's worked in her favor

You know what? Maybe being her mother wasn't gonna be so bad after all & besides, when Junhee gets older, she's gonna tell her friends that she was raised by a famous celebrity, which makes Dahyun smile bright as she already knows her future as her mother
