Motherly Instincts

Chapter 3

Dahyun had just gotten home from work as she's exhausted while holding the stroller as she unlocks the door & opens it as they go inside & then sits the stroller on the table & then flops down on the couch as you know all that practicing is wearing her out completely, but then as soon as she takes a nap, the baby starts crying as she gets hungry, so she then fixes her bottle

Minutes go by as her bottle gets warmed up & then checks to see if her food is in the right temperature before going back to the crying girl & starts feeding her, but then she hears a knock on the door as she gets it & sees her neighbor after opening the door & smiles at him

"Hey Da -" "Shhh, I'm trying to get the baby to sleep." "Oh, sorry, may I come in?" Dahyun nods her head & signals him to come in as he then enters the apartment.

"Your apartment looks good." "Thanks. I've been taking care of this little one ever since I found her by the side of the convenience store." "That's really good, but what about the parents?" Dahyun didn't really have time to explain everything as she already did that for Jihyo, so she then says, "I don't know. I would love to do it, but I'm scared there won't be any progress if I report her missing."

He starts to look at Dahyun while the baby finally falls asleep once she's done being fed & burped, but then asks her, "anything I can do to help?" "Not much I can think of, but can you be this kid's babysitter while I'm at work?" "Done."

Dahyun's eyes widen as she's shocked her neighbor accepted without any thought, but then again, he's got 3 kids by his wife, so he's got experience right there as she asks, "no second thoughts or anything at all?" "I wouldn't mind really though, I mean, I do have experience though." "Thank you though." "You're welcome."

Dahyun smiles wide & he then smiles back, all while the baby is asleep as she then excuses herself & takes her to her room & puts her in the rocker before coming back & walks her neighbor to the door & then takes a shower before getting ready to bed & turns the light off & goes right to sleep
