It's the next morning & Dahyun wakes up exhausted in the aftermath of the events that went down last night. I mean, can you blame her really? I mean a crazy man came to her apartment by surprise & almost killed the lady & now, it has literally traumatized her for life

Dahyun got the baby as she woke up as well as she got some sleep, but her "mother" barely got any after the crazy shit that went down. Anyway, she didn't really feel hungry, but she had to eat anyway, so she made her some avocado toast & ate that before getting a call from her mother

Dahyun was wondering why she was calling her this early in the morning in possible hopes that she didn't see the news, but then again, that's probably what her worries were about anyway as she wanted to hear her voice in hoping she's still alive & answers the phone

"Hello?," Dahyun asked as she put her phone in her ear. "Hey Hyunnie." Now, you maybe asking why her mother calls her that & trust me, I don't know either, so.......... "Hey mom, you must have seen the news, huh?" "Are you okay baby?" "Yes ma'am, I'm fine. Still traumatized, but fine" "That's good, but what's this I hear about you having a baby in your apartment?"

Great, now her mom knows about the baby she's raising, but at this point, she was gonna tell her eventually, but the question is when? She can't wait until she's graduating from high school cause she'll more likely be dead by then. But of course, she didn't have to find out through the local TV news, but here we are. Then again, she was gonna tell her one way or another on her own terms, quite like her sisters in Twice(excluding Jihyo since she was the first to know anyway) as her eyes open wide in shock as she ends up thinking of an audible, but says this instead : "it's better I tell you in person than on the phone" & then just quickly hangs up the phone as she starts to get ready

Getting quite nervous already, Dahyun finishes her shower, dresses the baby up too, thinks about what to tell her family, takes a deep breath & leaves the house as they walk over there to get some exercise

Dahyun & the baby arrive to her mom's house in one piece as she's scared shitless on how they'll react, so she walks over there as she steps on her mat & knocks on her door awaiting for anyone to open it, but then her mom opens it & they both hug each other conditionally as she walks in to the house & into the living room as she sees her dad & brother sitting on the couch as they await what really went down & what the hell is going on completely & starts to take a deep breath to tell her story before beginning

"Alright, where do you want me to start?," Dahyun asked as she is about to begin her long story. I mean it was better to start telling them about the baby now than wait until she grows up.

"You can start by telling us who's baby you got?" "That's where my story starts off, it belonged to this couple that was addicted to drugs. The birth mother is dead, so the father's sister chose me to take care of & protect her as her guardian when I saw her at the convenience store" "Do you have a name for her?" "No I do not" "Hey hey hey, perfect idea : how about naming her Perez?" "Perez? You can't be f -"

Dahyun had to stop herself before she kinda started to slip up as she was really confused on why she would name the baby Perez, but basically overlooked him as she calmly continues, "I'll think of a name when I get the certificate" "Wait, you mean the certificate is still in the hospital?"

Dahyun just nods her head in silence as she looks down in the floor. She was scared she would get disciplined completely, but didn't as more questions were starting to being asked

"But wait, how did he know where you lived?" "That's the thing, I don't know how, because I didn't give his sister my apartment building number" "How long will he be in jail?" "I don't know honestly" "Did you call the police before you opened the door?" "Yes ma'am. I was scared mom. He literally had a gun & was close to shooting me, but luckily he missed my body, which kinda tells me that his sister didn't tell me he was bad at shooting people"

All her parents knew that their daughter was safe & unharmed, which all that mattered anyway since she did protect the little girl like his sister told her to do & besides, those motherly instincts kicked in last night, so maybe being a mom won't be too bad, right?
