Motherly Instincts

Chapter 10

Dahyun heads back downstairs as she looks at her family still giving the baby attention, which literally made the blondie smile wide & how she would be loved into the family. She then takes a deep breath & says, "hey guys." They look at the "idol mother" & hears her out

"Hey honey, who was that on the phone?" "That was the hospital, remember the birth certificate I mentioned in my story?" "Yeah, what's wrong?" "I need to go get it & I have to take her with me." "Oh no, that's fine, we can take care of her." "That's great, but I'm sure her nurse might want to see her too." "Wait, she has to get checked up too?" Dahyun just nods her head & slowly walks to the car rocker & grabs it as she hugs her family, waves bye & leaves

"Mother & daughter" make it to the hospital 48 minutes later as it literally took a lot of walking just to get there, but now Dahyun heads out to the 2nd floor as they head to the nursery to find the same nurse that called her on the phone

"Am I too late?" "Nope, got me at the right time." Dahyun can breathe a sigh of relief as she made it, but then came the nerve-racking part : signing her name on the birth certificate. But then again, she literally had nothing to worry about really as she follows the nurse to her office while slowly rolling the baby inside

"Here's the certificate, I'm sure you got a name out for her already." Actually, no. No she doesn't. She was too busy trying to protect the little girl from her father, that thinking of names was the last thing on her mind. "It's okay sweetie, I'll be outside if you need me"

The nurse walks out as Dahyun looks at the certificate & starts taking deep breaths, all while looking at a white board where she can get creative. She gets up, goes to the board, slowly takes a marker, opens the top & starts to write some names

Dahyun wrote about at least 8 names that clearly she didn't like, but crazy enough, it took forever to finally accept a name & that's when it hit her. She quickly went back to the board & wrote on there "Junhee Laura" & smiled wide as she goes back to the certificate & wrote the baby's name in bold cursive & then signed her name & then took a sticky note & wrote the baby's name & put it on the nurse's notebook & then leaves the office & gets out of the hospital to head back to her place
