"This?" He asked and held up the container of blueberries.

"Those are it! Great job!"

"Mommy 'ike bwueberry."

'His speech is getting better — still needs more work, but Isa had issues speaking clearly when they were young. Plus, he is five and an only child.'

"Mama? 'ike bwueberry?"

"I do," I smiled and took the blueberries when he handed them to me. "Thank you. Would you like to try one?"

Hunter POV

I stretched and rolled onto my side, frowning when I noticed [Y/N] wasn't in bed with me. With a soft huff, I sat up and got out of bed, a yawn leaving me as I did so. Once I was out of bed, I grabbed my robe and put it on — not wanting to put effort into getting ready — before leaving my room. 'If she's up this early, she's probably making Costin breakfast — or eating breakfast with him.'

The closer I got to the kitchen, the stronger the smell of pancakes got, bringing a smile to my face. My smile widened when I heard Costin and [Y/N] laughing, making me carefully prop open the door to the kitchen. I watched as Costin stole a chocolate chip, causing [Y/N] to laugh again and flip a pancake. 'Well, if they're making breakfast, I'll just wait for them to finish.' I quietly slipped inside and waited at the island, leaning on it while watching them.

"Pancakes are almost ready," [Y/N] giggled as she set a pancake on a plate. "Wanna grab the eggs for me?"

"Egg!" Costin giggled and held up the eggs. "I wake Mommy?"

"After we have the plates ready — so after I make the eggs."

"Otay!"

[Y/N] kissed his head and laughed as she started on the eggs, moving the chocolate chips away from him when he tried to steal another one. Costin huffed and crossed his arms over his chest, pouting up at [Y/N] until he was given one. 'Baby, you're not supposed to give in to his pout.' I smiled at his little dance, rolling my eyes and holding back my giggle. 'Then again, his little dance is adorable.'

After they finished making the eggs and set the plates, [Y/N] turned and squeaked when she saw me, making me laugh. Costin turned and gasped before hopping off his, appearing next to me in a cloud of purple smoke. He hugged my waist and giggled, looking up at me with a wide smile.

"Mommy day!"

"That's right," I laughed and picked him up. "And I can only celebrate this because you're here. I couldn't be a Mommy if you were never born."

Costin giggled and nuzzled into my cheek. "Thanks to Mommy!"

[Y/N] POV

I smiled and set the plates on the island. "Happy Mother's Day, my love."

"Thank you, dear," Hunter smiled as I moved over to her. "How many chocolate chips did he steal?"

"Shut up," I grumbled and pecked her lips. "Isa's going to take him for the second half of the day, so tonight can be a little date night."

"I look forward to it," Hunter hummed and pecked my lips. "What did you make me?"

"Blueberry pancakes and eggs."

"No bacon or sausage?"

"Costin was adamant we make pancakes, so we made those."

"Yeah, sounds like him," Hunter laughed. "So, do you have anything planned for our date tonight?"

"I do," I smiled and cut up her pancake, feeding her a piece. "But it's a surprise."

"Mama and Mommy night?" Costin asked while leaning his head on Hunter's shoulder.

"Sorta," I responded. "While you're with your other parent, Mommy and I will have a little date. Until then, it's your day too."

"Yay!"

Hunter picked me up after Isa left with Costin, pulling a squeal of excitement out of me. "So, our date?"

I giggled and kissed her cheek. "Movie night. Movies, cuddling, just us. What more could you ask for?"

"Nothing, it's perfect," Hunter hummed. "So, where to?"

"Put me down and follow me."

Hunter set me down, allowing me to grab her hand and pull her with me to the room. Once we entered the room, I pulled her to the pile of blankets and pillows before sitting down, motioning to the pile of movies to pick from. She grabbed a few before joining me, letting me look at the ones she chose.

'All horror movies. Someone's hoping I cling to her,' I smiled at the thought before picking the scariest one, reassuring her that I'd be fine since I had her to protect me. Hunter's cheeks turned red at that, but she put the movie in before returning to her spot. I scooted closer to her and rested my head on her shoulder, smiling when she wrapped her arm around my waist.

Skeletons brought in drinks and a bowl of popcorn as Hunter wrapped a blanket around us, thanking the help before they left. Once the movie started, I nuzzled into Hunter's neck and let out a happy sigh. 'I'm glad Hunter and Isa never ended on bad terms, it makes date night so much easier.'

"Question."

"Hm?" I giggled against her neck.

"How do you feel about marriage? I mean, it has been three years, surely you've at least thought about it."

'You have no idea.'
