_    Dream woke up and got off of bed where him and Killer fall asleep on while watching the movies he put away the blanket from himself and went into the kitchen grabbing a cup and turning pouring somw water in then drinking it he drank the water then putted down the cup, going to drab some snacks from the fridge where he noticed a note attached to it. Dream took it rather confused and begin reading it his eyes going wide fear taking over him as he placed the note down and rushed to Killers room taking five turns around the rooms where Horror was also waking him up saying "it's urgent" and "He'll talk later" then also woke Killer up and told him to come down in the kitchen both Horror and Killer confused.

    Nightmare finally made it, he looked at the dark purple castle that read "X!tale laboratory" he didn't thought it twice when he walked towards the door of the lab and snuck in from a window nearby to not alert any sirens it had. He then begun to search for Cross through the large building that was filled with screams of pain and agony from plenty of experiments its atmosphere not helping either. Nightmare tip-toed and walked like a mouse, looking through every door from its window then he saw Cross in one of the white rooms with white door it reading "experiment X-event" Nightmare wondered why X named Cross an experiment and call him his last name before thinking it didn't matter and removed his bagpack searching for a hair clip he bought with himself which he found after sometime. He inserted the clip on the doors lock and twisted it easily opening ur surprising Nightmare. But he ignored it still staying careful as possible.
    Nightmare went towards Cross who was asleep on the ground he approached Cross and sat beside him trying to wake him up...
   
    "Cross?" He asked earning a movement from whom turned towards him and looked him in the eyes smiling rather an evil smile as he giggled his both eyes purple X shaped pupils that stared at Nightmare's confused expression and made the atmosphere around Nightmare turn dark by every word Cross spoke: "you're so silly... coming here, risking your life, worrying your friends and a brother but not have you ever thought that you could get in trouble." Nightmare looked at Cross his expression reading nothing but concern and confusion along with suspicion.
    Cross smirked as he turned towards some employees of the lab that went over and grabbed Nightmare, who tried to defend Cross and himself. Nightmare struggled and called Cross to help him out or do something to which Cross just giggled and teared up a little as the scientists took Nightmare away into another room.

    Meanwhile somewhere else stood Cross and glanced at the screen banging and calling out for Nightmare trying to warn him, tell him it was pointless to stay in the lab and to just go only to see that someone in his body let the time pass by along with pressing a button that alerted the guards that managed to let Nightmare get in easy got alerted by it. Cross stared in shock terror filling him up. What will happen now that he can't even connect to anyone at all and be away from his own body and rather stuck in it... Cross wanted yet didn't want to know the anwser...

I was so close to ending this in 300+ words only due to lack of time
