The battle against Rod Reiss' Titan had been intense. We had followed through Levi san's strategy to stuff the Titan's mouth with gun powder and then blow it into pieces from the inside. As soon as that had happened, we had split up and cut through the pieces of flesh that had flown in all directions hoping that we could sever the neck piece before the Titan regenerated.
The operation had been more than successful since Historia had been the one to do away with the vital part of the Titan and put an end to it. I had been with her the entire time to ensure her safety. It had been unnecessary though, for she had shown that she was not the weak girl she had portrayed herself to be all this time. It had, in turn, caught the attention of the people enough to support her in becoming the queen after overthrowing the fake government that they had been living under all this time.
