CHAPTER 98

I was about to speak up but he immediately ended the call. Seconds had pass there's a message popped up on my screen.

From Roderick:
Let's meet at Italian Resto, 6pm sharp.

As I read his message, napabuntong hininga nalang ako and lay on my bed. I am now facing the ceiling and keep on thinking kung ano at paano ko sasabihin ang lahat.

Imee's POV
I am now in my office. To be honest I can't focus right now coz I keep on thinking about Steffie and Roderick. Buti nga't wala masyadong pasyente ngayon. The only thing I did today was rounds kasama ang mga bagong Doctor.

Minutes had pass someone knocked the door and as it opens, it's Gab.

Gab: Pupunta ka mamaya? (Then sit on the chair infront of Imee)

Imee: Saan? (Confuse)

Gab: Sa dinner treat ni Dr. Francisco.

Imee: Huh?

Gab: You didn't know? (Chuckled)

Imee: Tsk! Ganto ba ang magiging reaksiyon ko kung alam ko ha? (then gave Gab a death stare)

Gab: How come hindi nasabihan ang paboritong Doctor ni Dr. Francisco? (Then laugh) Oh my! Don't tell me hindi na? So is that mean ako na?! Oh god—(didn't finish his words coz Imee throw a pen on him which made him laugh even more)

Imee: HAHA! Nakakatawa (said that in a sarcastic way then rolled her eyes)

Gab: Kidding aside, pero pupunta ka ba?

Imee: Nasabihan ba ako? Hindi diba? So bakit ako pupunta? Like for instance, kapag ba hindi kita sinabihang pumunta sa kasal ko, pupunta ka? Definitely no! Dahil ayokong magkaroon o makakita ng kalat sa simbahan.

That made Gali frown. Agad nagkasalubong ang kilay eh HAHAH. I know he's about to speak but I speak up again.

Imee: You know what just go and enjoy the dinner nalang.....I can buy my own food anyway.

Gab: Naks! Iba pa rin talaga (shook his head and chuckled).

Imee: Tsk!

Gab: I can buy my own food—If I know kay Roderick ka lang na naman ulit magpapabili eh.

Imee: Oh tapos? Selos ka?

Gab: Me?! Why would I? I have Franky noh.

Imee: Sus! (Then laugh) If I know napilitan ka lang siguro manligaw ng iba kasi alam mong wala kang pag-asa sa akin.

Gab: Luh! Napakalakas ng hangin dito ah (then sit properly) Feeling ko anytime tatangayin na ako dito.

Imee: Well, that's what happen if you look like a stick (chuckled)

Gab: Aba! Kahit kelan talaga napakagaling mo mambara eh noh—

Gab was about to stand up and walk closer (I guess) but someone knocked the door so I gave him a "stop" look which he did right away. Seconds had pass, the door opens and it's Rod kaya agad akong tumayo and gave him a kiss.

Gab: A-Ahem!

Imee: Inuubo ka? Eww! Get out.

Gab: Kita mo, ang sama talaga ng ugali ng fiancée mo, Rod.

When Gab tell those words, I just gave him a smirk and faced Rod again.

Rod: Love naman.
