Moon Hill is a crescent archway carved out of limestone. We contemplate another uphill hike after so many treks and biking. Why not continue to abuse these bodies?
Ascending at a fast pace, we pass nearly every group on the way u
p. We pause to eat our Mandarin oranges and sweet rambutan fruits with red alien-like tendrils on their shells. The group of Europeans arrive at the actual viewpoint we undershot.
Drats.
We join them in photo sessions. We pretend to be rock climbers too, ignoring the signs. Limestone has tempting grip and many holds. Someday, we'll realize the dream.
