𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐍'𝐓 𝐎𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐍 but when the couple found a moment to create date night they often went all out,

"What have you planned for today?" Lillian asked as she turned the music down letting the sound of the Weeknd become nothing more than apart of the back ground,

"It's a surprise," Ethan focused on the road ahead as he placed his hand on her thigh,

"Ethan!" The blonde threw her head back as she let out a groan,

"I'll give you one hint," the brunette looked at her with a smile,

"Play ball!" He added as he used his best baseball announcer voice,

"Shut up!" The soccer player squealed as she grew excited,

"We're going to Detroit?" She added as she cocked her head,

Despite the fact that she grew up in Edmonton she absolutely loved watching baseball.

"You bet," the hockey player nodded as he watched her bounce her legs,

"But you hate going to Detroit," Lillian pointed out as she furrowed her eyebrows,

"Yeah but the last time I went was with you," Ethan had nothing against the city but he just hated driving there,

"So once every six months is something I can handle," he added as he watched the girl lean over the console to kiss his lips,

"You should have told me before!" The blonde mumbled as she sent him a soft glare,

"I don't have my jersey or anything," she added as she had a whole collection of Tigers merchandise that she had accumulated over the last two years,

"That's why I bought you this," the brunette couldn't help but smirk as he leaned into the back of the car to grab something as they were stopped at a red light.

"Ethan," the soccer player watched as the boy revealed a tigers hat,

"Knew I'd put a smile on your face," the hockey player placed the hat on her head as he watched how her eyes lit up,

"How'd you know that I didn't have one of these already?" Lillian asked as she cocked her head,

"Indigo sent me a picture of your hat collection," Ethan confessed as he had to focus back on the road as the car behind them had hit their hooter,

"And I saw that you didn't have the original cap in this style." He added as he had literally stood in the cap shop for thirty minutes comparing different hats with the old couple who owned the place.

"What?" The boy could feel that the girl was smiling at him,

"Look at you being all romantic," the blonde teased as she grabbed his hand as she felt her heart swell,

"Only the best for you," the brunette chuckled as he felt the girl place a kiss on his cheek before they sat in silence for the rest of the five minute trip just wanting to enjoy each others company.

Ethan watched as Lillian stared at the field beneath them,

"I'm pretty sure that you're meant to be watching them," Lillian mumbled as her cheeks turned red feeling her boyfriends eyes on her,

"And not me," she added as she turned to him with a smile,

"It's not my fault that I like looking at my pretty girl," Ethan smirked as he kissed her temple,

"You're gonna make me blush," the blonde groaned as she leaned over her chair as she placed her head on his shoulder,
