𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑 𝐋𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐍 is reminded of why she is not a morning person, and every year she manages to end up with at least one morning class.

"If I could have your attention up front please," Professor McKinley spoke up causing the students to turn to her,

"The main project of this semester is being introduced to you today so please look at the person sat next to you as they will be your partner," the sports marketing teacher explained as Lillian looked next to her,

The seat was empty.

"Sorry I'm late Miss," Ethan apologised as he ran into the lecture hall,

"Well Mr Edwards I was just telling everyone about the project for the semester," Professor McKinley sent the boy an irritated look,

"As you are here late you don't have a choice of partners so please go sit next to Ms Fraser," she added as she noticed that the blonde was the only one without a partner,

"Raise your hand so Mr Edwards can see where he is sitting," as Lillian's hand went into the air her body slid further back into her chair as she wished that the ground would swallow her whole.

"Hey," Ethan softly spoke as he watched the girl move her bag from what was now his chair,

"Hi," Lillian mumbled back as she tried to ignore how she grew nervous around him,

This was the first time that they had spoken in over three months but it felt like it had been years.

As class ended Lillian was quick to throw her papers into her bag as she wanted to get out of there as quick as she could, she had spent the last hour and a half trying to ignore the little glances that Ethan kept on sending her as he almost couldn't believe that she was actually sat next to him.

"Lilly wait!" Ethan called out as he forgot how fast the girl could speed walk,

"What?" Lillian turned around to face him as she squeezed her bags straps.

"When should we work on this?" The boy asked as it was a partner project,

"Look we can divide the work and then come back together in December to merge it together." The girl pointed out as she didn't want to work with him, well she and her heart did but her brain was ringing all of the alarm bells telling her to run away.

"I get that we broke up but can you just act like you like me for six months so that neither one of us fail this fucking class." The brunette grumbled as he clenched his fist growing frustrated.

"Fine, library at six on Monday." The blonde was taken aback by the boys little outburst, this was the longest they had spoken in about ten months.

"Why Monday?" Ethan cocked his head as he looked at her,

"Because I have a game on Sunday and I'm stressed out about it, so please Monday." Lillian explained as she watched the boys face, he was truly listening.
