I'm starting this poem quoting the lines of Bruce Lee
In the depths of the night, when you are fast asleep
That is when I come, your soul is mine to keep
I am your worst nightmare
For when you close your eyes, I will be waiting there
With my razor-sharp claws, I will slash and tear
And you will scream and beg for mercy, but I won't fucking care
For I am the dream demon, and I feed on your fear
Your torment is my pleasure, and I will never disappear
You try to run, but you can't escape my grip
In your dreams, I have the power to make your heart skip
You thought you were safe, but you were wrong
For I will haunt you forever, and your sleep will be gone
So go ahead, close your eyes and take a deep breath
I promise to be gentle as I drag you to your death
With my sinister smile and my haunting laugh
You will never forget me
Writing is a competitive profession that requires a lot of patients to get into the craft
So I'm looking for a fish to catch
I promise y'all please don't disrespect
That'll be one big regret
