-wake up rubes!-
I open my eyes,-hm?- I hum.
I rub my eyes.
-the hospital just called- Calum says.
-what is it?- I whisper, still waking up.
-they are taking your stitches out today!- he says, huh.
-well, probably, it's not a hundred procent sure but the chance is big- cal says, I nod slowley.
-if they do, that means you can walk again- Calum says.
-need help to get ready?- he asks, I nod.
-I first need help with staying awake- I say and chuckle.
He laughs.
-relatable- he says.
I look at his shirt.
-nice outfit- I say.
-thank you- he says, I reach my arms out to him.
He smiles and lifts me up, he takes me to the bathroom.
He puts me on a chair, he helps me wash my face.
I don't wanna stand on one leg, its annoying.
-there ya go- Calum says, i brush my teeth and he helps me change.
I brush my brown hair.
Calum takes me downstairs after he got ready too.
I eat breakfast, a sandwich.
-happy birthday!- Ashton says while entering the room, a smile appears on my face and i giggle.
Ashton hugs me tight.
-thank you- I say, he gives my head a kiss
Their families will come this evening and then they'll stay for the weekend. I think it's gonna be fun, I called with Lauren before, ashton's sister, she's nice to me.
I finish my breakfast after a little while me and Luke leave to the hospital.
I hope that they can help me by taking the stitches out.
We head to the waiting room, I'm holding Luke's hand and i won't let it go
-happy birthday hun- he says
I smile at him,-thanks dad- I say, he nods and leans his head on mine.
A doctor enters the room.
-Ruby?-
Luke helps me get up, he lifts me up and we go to the same room i went to get my stitches in.
The man checks my stitches,-hmmm, looks good so far...- he says.
Please take them out.
He checks the surgery stitches now.
-lucky you, I can take them out- he says.
-yaaaay!- I cheer, the man laughs.
-okay I'm gonna numb your leg again okay?- he says, I nod.
He opens a drawer and he takes a big needle out
My heart beat rises, I hate that needle so much.
-don't be scared daddy's here- Luke whispers.
I smile and nod
After a while he took all of the stitches out.
He puts plasters on the wounds,-give it a few hours and then you can start to walk again, but I would do it slow at first if I were you, you can take the pain medication until the bottle is empty okay? If anything happens at all, if the pain stays after two weeks, or it starts to heavily bleed again. Call 911 right away okay?- he tells Luke.
-yes- Luke says.
After this we leave the room, luke leaves the wheelchair in the hospital where he got it from.
He carries me to the car, he carefully put me on the seat beside the driver's seat. -wait here, I'll be right back okay?- he says while reaching for his wallet.
-promise?- I ask.
-ofcourse darling- he says and kisses my forehead.
I nod, he gives me his phone.
-go play a game kid- he says and closes the car door.
I smile and unlock his phone, he doesn't have a password.
I play candy crush.

Luke comes back pretty soon.
Ice cream from mc Donald's.
He hops in the car, I gasp and close the game.
-you definitely deserve it- he says, he takes his phone and i take a ice cream cone.
After we finished our ice cream, luke drives us back home...
