Ashton

Ashton's POV

We arrive back home, while the others unpack the groceries i take Ruby out of the car. I hold her in my arms, I take her upstairs.
She's waking up, shit.
-Im sorry- I say, she shrugs.
I take her to her room.
-maybe you'd like to talk now?- I ask her, she nods.
I lay her on her bed so she can properly wake up.
-Im gonna grab us drinks, what would you like to drink?- I ask.
-hmm, water- she says, I nod and leave.

Ruby's POV

I lay under my blanket with my back against the wall. Ashton joins me when he gets back.
After a long conversation about that day, I tell ashton that id rather to go bed now.
He gets up,-uh, can't you stay?- I ask.
He looks at me.
-are you sure?- he asks, I nod.
I need someone with me right now I don't know why.
We first brush our teeth, ash tells the others about this so they know.
I put shorts on and a t shirt, I lay in my bed. Ashton joins me after turning the light off. I keep starring to nowhere.
-now that I'm here, your birthday is next week- ashton says.
-hm- I hum.
-what's wrong?- he asks.
-its not a birthday without mom and dad- I whisper.
-what if i promise that your birthday will be amazing?- he says.
-and im sure that your parents would want you to enjoy your special day- ashton says, I nod.
-andddd, you'll meet our families too. isnt that cool too?- he asks.
I smile.
-there's that smile- he says and giggles, i chuckle.
-idiot- I say, he smiles. I hug him, he puts his arm around me.
This place is starting to feel like home a little.
I fall asleep after a while.
