I remember you always wrapped in flowers.
Your heart was made of pure gold.
The things you said I took as written scripture,
As if I would always have them to hold.Little did I know you would leave so sudden.
I heard that word and didn't understand.
But as I grew older I truly know now,
Life is fragile; and your words are worth more than gold.You taught me how to love all animals,
You taught me how to always be kind.
You told me everyone goes through some things,
And to never leave your brothers behind.I'll never forget one thing you've said to me,
Even if they're shown in pieces in my head.
I thank you for the person you've made me today.
I miss you and the flowers upon your head.
