Foxete's POV:

I'm weak. Freddy, the biggest pain-in-my-ass, has that right. I won't make it far. I wait until the drone delivers my food. I hope a drone delivers my food and not Chica herself. We're on our old ship. I stole a bag of stuff. My stuff, crews stuff. Just stuff. I just want to go home. 5 months. 5 stupid, stupid months. I just want someone to hug me. I want to see my family.
The drone delivers my food.

Go time.

I jumped on the drone, full force. The stupid thing didn't even have time to react. I cut of its hand and ran outside. The sensors never activate, but the alarm blares. My tracker. I race to the weapons bay where my stuff is being held. I grab my armor and dagger.

It's been so long since I've held this.

I grab a gun and begin shooting at the bots surrounding me.

If you don't leave now Foxete, you will never escape.

I rush through. I don't even try to teleport. I know I won't make it.
Finally, I reach the command center.

I designed this system. I can disable it.

Sure enough, I did. It's my ship after all.

The ships power went down. I attempt to make contact with the crew,

"Dex can you hear me?"
Static.

"Anyone?"
More static.

"Illoha?!"
And more.

"Please? Does anyone copy?!"
Finally, a response.

"Foxete?" I hear Keori's voice through the transmitter.
"Keori!" I laugh, "Oh thank god!"
I smile like an idiot.
I missed her.
"Fox, where are you??" She asks.
"I'm sending you the coordinates of the nearest planet to me. I'll be there."
"See you soon." She responds.
The line disconnects.

I'll be back soon.

The only thing active would be Acron's escape pods.

Acron's escape pods.

Didn't we use those to escape the first time?!

I quickly realize the flaw in my plan. There can't be any more escape pods.

I took the emergency one.

I had one option.

The damn jet.

I race to the hanger bay. Sure enough the damned jet sat there.

I'm going to die in this thing.

I quickly check the fuel tank. Half full. Oh well. Better than empty! I can hear the soldiers running to the hanger. I rush to the front. The top comes off the jet slower than a grandma with a walker.

"Faster you stupid, lovely, live-saving jet!" I hiss.

Bullets fly.

I hop in the jet, but not before Chica gets a solid shot through my side.
"Shit!" I curse loudly. I open the hanger and the soldiers begin flying out.

Nice.

I start the ship and fly out.

Destination?

Planet Worien.

Dex's POV:

"Planet Worien?" I ask Keori.
"Yep. That's the coordinates." She nods.
"Alright. Davis, clear it?" I ask.
I hear the beeping of an outdated computer.
"We both know that the computer doesn't actually make that noise." I sigh.
"I like it because it annoys you." Davis remarks.
I shake my head, "Clear?"
"Clear." He confirms, "Set course?"
"Yeah. Let's go get her." I smile.

Foxete's POV:

The
Ship
Is
On
Fire.

IT'S ON FIRE.

The moment I entered this dreaded atmosphere it set on fire! I'm going to burn alive. I'm bleeding out, I'm going to die! I think I'm screaming. I'm not sure. Too panicked. I escape Freddy and now this? I'm not gonna make it.

The ground gets closer and closer.

Seriously? This is how I die? Falling from the sky?

And closer.

I thought it would be more... brave.

I can see a nearby village.

Maybe it's not so bad.

I crash.

I'm not dead yet.

How am I not dead yet?

I just fell directly from space and didn't die?

I should be dead.

Do I want to be dead?

No.

I have to fight.

This is for Ru.
