Wally finished eating, getting up and taking the tray to the sink.

"I can wash those." I smiled. He shook his head.

"Nonsense, you cooked for me. It's the lease I can do." He gave me a warm smile.

He quickly washed the dishes, making his way back to the couch and sitting down.

"Did you want to... Spend the day together?" He asked shyly. I nodded.

"Of course. I actually have something planned for the afternoon if you wanna watch some TV for a bit." He nodded, smiling.

We sat down next to each other and he pulled me closer to him. I wrapped my arms around him.

This feels nice. It feels like it did before.

We cuddled and watched TV for a few hours. Once it reached noon, I stood up, making my way to the kitchen.

"So, what is it you have planned?" Wally asked, tilting his head. I smiled, taking the picnic basket out.

"I was thinking we could go on a picnic." He smiled widely.

"Oh! That sounds lovely!" I quickly made some sandwiches and packed some snacks and drinks. I also snuck in an apple for Wally without him noticing. I grabbed the blanket as well.

We made our way outside and over to another grassy hill. I laid down the blanket and we sat down. I handed him his sandwich and drink.

We both started eating and talking.

"So, you don't remember anything? Like even about your friends or Home?" Wally shook his head.

"Not really, no. At least nothing as of recent. Although now that I know retracing my steps is helping me remember, I'd like to continue that... If you want to help." I nodded.

"Of course I do." Wally looked at me sadly.

"I'd like to get back to us." I looked at him, smiling sadly.

"Wally, you don't have to force it. If you're not ready..." He cut me off.

"I am. From what I've heard from you and Barnaby, we had something very special. I was... Happy. You were happy. I'd love to know what that feeling is again." I smiled, leaning in and giving him a kiss on the cheek. His face lit up orange. He gently touched where I kissed him.

"I remember that..." I looked at him excitedly.

"You remember me kissing you?" I laughed. He nodded.

"Yes, I also remember something else... May I try it?" I nodded, feeling my face heat up.

He leaned in, kissing the corner of my mouth. I felt my breath hitch.

He pulled back and smiled. I smiled, leaning closer.

"Do you remember what happened next?" He nodded, leaning in closer.

Our lips met. It felt like fireworks. Once the kiss broke, I opened my eyes to see Wally practically star struck.

"I remember that. Oh, I didn't realize how much I missed that." He smiled, his face a bright orange.

I couldn't help but smile.

I love him.

We finished eating, and began packing up.

"Oh, I almost forgot! I got you something!" He cocked his head.

"Oh?" I pulled out the apple and watched his face light up. I handed it to him and he gently took it from my hands.

"Thank you!" He smiled widely.

We made our way back to my house, him still holding onto the apple.

He's so cute.

We got back to my house, and I quickly threw out the trash and put the basket away. I turned to see Wally staring at the heart on the wall again.

"We made this with Julie..." I nodded.

"Yeah, when she dumped all her crafts onto my table." He smiled.

"Hah... Hah... Hah... Yes, I recall." I smiled, wrapping my arm around him.

"Your memories are coming back." He nodded, leaning his head on my shoulder.

"And I couldn't be happier." He turned to me, pulling me into a hug. I quickly hugged him back.

"Hey, Wally?" We stood there, hugging.

"Yes?" I felt his grip around me tighten.

"Did you want to... Spend the night?" He nodded.

"I would love to. I am going to need some pajamas though." He laughed.

"Oh, yours are still here." He broke the hug, looking at me with a smirk.

"Still? So I sleep here often? Hah... Hah... Hah." I nodded.

I quickly went and grabbed them. He went into the other room to get changed, and I went after him.

We sat down on the couch and turned on the TV. He leaned on my shoulder, wrapping his arms around me.

We watched TV for a bit. I felt myself begin to drift off to sleep. Before I fell asleep, I felt someone pick me up. I quickly woke up and saw that Wally had picked me up. He smiled.

"I'm sorry to wake you... You were falling asleep, and I thought I remembered carrying you to bed at one point." I wrapped my arms around his neck, nodding.

"Yeah, you did. It surprised me then too." I chuckled.

"Hah... Hah... Hah... You're very cute." His face lit up orange.

He carried me to the bed, laying me down. He draped the blanket over me.

"Are you not coming to bed?" I pulled the blanket back. His face lit up a deeper shade of orange.

"In bed? Together?" I nodded.

"You don't have to if you're uncomfortable." He shook his head.

"No, I would like to. Especially if it helps jog my memory." He slowly climbed into bed, wrapping his arms around me. I rested my head on his chest, and I felt his grip tighten.

"This is nice... Familiar..."
