I woke up and stretched.

I slept like a rock after that party.

I made my way out of the room and into the kitchen. Wally turned to me, a plate of toaster strudel in his hands.

"Good morning! How did you sleep?" He smiled. We both made our way to the couch.

"I slept really well. That party really wore me out." I sat down on the couch. He smiled, handing me the plate.

"I'm glad you slept well." I took a bite of my food, looking up at him.

"How did you sleep?" He gave me a tired smile.

"I slept." He sat down next to me.

"Why not take a nap?" He shook his head.

"No, too much to do. I don't like naps." I leaned on his shoulder.

"Well I hope you sleep better tonight." He rested his head on mine.

I finished eating and got up to clean my plate.

I quickly cleaned it and made my way back to the couch.

"Wanna spend the day together?" I looked up at Wally. He smiled, nodding excitedly.

"Yes! Of course." He flapped his hands slightly.

I love when he gets excited, it's so cute.

We both went and got dressed, meeting back up in the living room.

"Did you have anything planned?" Wally asked. I shrugged.

"To be honest, I didn't think that far ahead." Wally laughed.

"Hah... Hah... Hah... Well, let's go for a walk." I smiled and nodded. We made our way out of Home and up the street. He lead me off the trail and up the same grassy hill we met on.

He sat down, patting the spot next to him. I sat next to him, leaning my head on his shoulder.

Wally rested his head on mine.

"Do you miss your old home?" He questioned. I shrugged.

"Eh, not so much. I've had so much fun here, it's hard to miss a world where everything is depressing." He sat up, turning to me.

"What do you mean? Surely not everything could be depressing." I shrugged.

"Basically. It's all just hard work for nothing. I work my butt off every day just to keep struggling. I basically pay rent so I have a place to starve for the month. I didn't really have time for friends, or anything else. Here, I feel like I can finally breath. Not to mention all the amazing people I've met, including you." I smiled at him. His face lit up orange, a big smile spread across his face.

"I love you very much, _______________." He froze.

"As a neighbor, and a friend." He quickly corrected himself. I couldn't help but feel a tinge of sadness, but I kept my smile on my face.

"I love you too, Wally." He smiled, but it held a hint of sadness.

I leaned over and hugged Wally. He went limp for a moment, but his arms slowly lifted, hugging me back.

"Hey Wally... Are you okay?" He pulled back, looking at me.

"What do you mean?" He looked at me confused.

"I mean... You just seem like you're hiding something. And it feels like it has to do with... Home.." Wally froze.

"Ah, don't be silly _______________. I'm perfectly fine. Let's drop the subject, please." I nodded, leaning over and hugging him once again.

"If you ever need to talk, I'm here for you, Wally. I always will be." I felt him hug me tighter.

"Thank you..." He pulled back, small tears in the corners of his eyes. He quickly wiped them away.

I leaned over, gently kissing him on the cheek. His face lit up orange and his smile grew.

"You're so sweet." He said, placing his hand on his cheek.

"May I?" He asked, leaning forward slightly. I nodded. He leaned in closer, gently kissing the corner of my lips. He pulled back, his face a deeper shade of orange.

"Ah, I'm awfully sorry, that was a bit too close wasn't it?" He tugged a bit at the collar of his shirt.

I smiled and shook my head.

"Not at all, but... May I?" I leaned forward slightly.

His eyes widened a bit, but he quickly nodded.

I leaned over, gently kissing his lips.

I pulled back and he was smiling earlier to ear.

He really is so cute.

We sat and talked for the next few hours, just enjoying each other's time. Once the sun began to set, Wally stood up. He held his hand out and helped me up.

He held my hand as we walked all the way home.

Once inside, we both went and got dressed into our pajamas. I yawned.

"I had a good day with you, Wally." He smiled.

"I did too, ________________. Thank you." We both made our way to the room.

We both laid in our beds and said our goodnights.

Today really was a great day.
