chapter 12 - sunahri gets to know about naira

Scene starts with kartik who is lying on bed thinking about all this having no energy to react...

Kartik pov - itna kuch ho gaya tha us din maine kabhi nahi soocha tha ki gayu ham sab ko aise chor kar chali jayegi , par us din sirf gayu nahi mari thi, hamara rishta bhi mar gaya tha... Tumne maar dala tha hamre rishte ko, kaash tum mujhse ek baar pooch leti...

With the thoughts he tried to sleep but sleep is far away from his eyes he twisted on bed but can't sleep
He gets up being frustrated....

Kartik (to himself) - are yaar ye neend kyu nahi aa rahi, din bhar kahli betha raha shayad isliye...
Ek kaam karta hoon thori deer kaam kar leta hoon...

He gets up and make Coffee for himself...
He goes towards the balcony with his laptop but then he notice naira is talking on phone to someone...
He goes near and heard her

Naira (on call) - haa kunal, mai samajhti hoon.... Ha par mai abhi.... Kunal mai abhi nahi aa sakti try to understand aur (she turns and saw kartik standing there) mai tumse baad mai baat karti hoon....

She cut the call without waiting for reply and goes towards kartik....kartik looks here and there and saw no on eis there...

Kartik (nervously) - I.... I am sorry mai tumhari baate nahi sunna chahta tha but...

Naira - it's okay, mujhe pata hai, tum yaha

Kartik - haa wo mai (he show laptop and smile faintly) aaa... Tum yaha kya rahi thi itni raat mai...

Naira - nothing bas neend nahi aa rahi thi isliye yaha thi

Kartik - tumhe kuch chahiye, coffeee..... Coffee piyogi

Naira - nahi bas thora office ka kaam hai uske baad mujhe sona hai

Kartik nodded and moved towards couch and starts doing his work...
Naira comes and sits in front of him make him look at her..... Kartik broke the silence and said

Kartik - kuch chahiye

Naira - aa... Nahi

Kartik - tumhe kabhi bhi kuch bhi chahiye tum yaha kisi se maang sakti ho, specially sunhari se ,she will always help you.... As you help sayesha...

Naira - sayesha ko maine help kiya kyuki she is a very nice person meri jagah waha koi bhi hota to wahi karta...

Kartik - yaa but still, thank you for that...and (he want to say something but hesitate)....

Naira - don't worry mai yaha hamare past ke baare mai kisi ko nahi bataugi, even yaha se jaldi se jaldi chali jaugi...

Kartik - mai tumhe jaane ke liye nahi keh raha but Please try ki yaha pe jaisa sab pehle tha vaisa hi rahe kuch change na ho tumhare aane se..

Naira - sure...

After some more normal talk they both get up to go from there but sunahri cones in front of them...

Sunahri - kya hua, kartik tum abhi tak soye kyu nahi...
Aur naira tum

Kartik - mujhe neend nahi aa rahi thi actually

Naira - or... Mai kuch office ka kaam kar raha tha a

Sunahri - oh okay, naira tum jaake so jao aur kartik tum aao mere saath
