In the Philippines, Asia, a plethora of Filipino* activists and citizens are fighting for climate justice. *In this article, we are covering Indigenous & non-Indigenous Filipino climate action and advocates. The Philippines is a country that is known to be currently dealing with harsh effects of colonialism, and has in the past. The Philippines also has strong connections with Asia as well as the Pacific Islands, so they are not new to allyship and colonial climate change.
