Chapter 4: Unfamiliar Surroundings.

Punz have visited Dream again, and this time..
He brought some snacks, probably for Dream to eat.. since, Punz realized how Dream have been with the egg for 3 days and now it's day 4.

He just hopes that Dream like the snacks he brought.

Punz have reached his destination, and now he's in the egg room. Surprisedly, not even a single other eggpire members are in the room and it's only him.. and Dream.

Punz slowly walk up to the egg, as he tilt his head slightly to the side. Everything was silent.. as if no one was there, except for Punz.

Then... "Who's there..?";

It's Dream, as he asked his question. Punz smiled slyly, before speaking. "It's me, Punz." Punz replied, in a soft and gentle tone of voice.
Punz then saw how Dream slowly peek his head out, as his eyes eyeing Punz.

Dream then fully peeked his head out, as his expression was soften and quite confused; with his mouth hang open slightly, shaping like a small 'o'. Punz chuckled, before he approaches Dream, getting closer to the egg and him.

"..Punz. Y-you're the guy from yesterday... R-right..?" Now, that caught Punz by surprise, as he looked quite confused. "U-uh, yes, I am the guy from yesterday.. d-did.... Do you not remember?-"

Dream hesitate slightly, before he slowly nodded his head. "B-but, your voice was enough.. I just couldn't remember your appearance, that's all.." Dream said, as Punz sighed. "..you really do have a bad memory, eh?"

"I guess, much more worse then.. Ranboo." Punz added, which made Dream confused a little. Punz noticed Dream's expression, looking confused as he chuckled. "Ah.. right, you don't know who Ranboo is. Well, he's just another member of the SMP, he also have bad memories, but not as bad as.. yours."

Dream nodded his head, understanding-ly. As he look at the ground. Punz then continued to approach Dream before he was now infront of Dream, Punz slowly knelt down, with one knee and then another. He smiled softly, as he let out a quiet and soft chuckle.

"Alright. Dream, I have some stuff for you to try." Punz says, as he pulled out the snacks he kept in his inventory. Some cookies, bread, and baked potatoes. Dream was quite intrigued by this, as he eyed Punz in a bit of confusion and interest.

"..ah... You..-" Punz paused, as he thinks for a moment; '..Does Dream doesn't know what food is..?? Why does he looked confused and intrigued-', Punz thought before he sigh and let out an awkward chuckle.

"Here, you can have them; they're for you." Punz said with a smile, as he gave Dream the food. Dream look at the food that Punz gave, as he slowly smell them.. quite intriguing and yet, also confusing for him. "..W-why would you give me these? Wh.. what are these?".

Oh, how Punz was caught by surprise once more, as he stays silent. "These are called food, most people would say. And the round-brown shaped is called cookies, the quite long-brown colour one is bread, and lastly, the other that looked quite like a bread but, kinda light brown is Potatoes.";

Dream kept silent, as he look at the food. He slowly took a baked potato, as he slowly bring it to his mouth and take a small bite. His face lighten up at the taste, as he look at Punz with a surprised expression.

Punz saw how cute his expression was, as he laughed softly. "Hehe. You like the baked potato?" Punz asked, between laughter. Dream nodded his head before he takes more bites; he likes the baked potato, now.

They had fun spending time with together, having good laughter and good time.

Until, Punz had a suggestion.

"Hm.. hey, Dream." Dream then look at Punz, as he tilt his head slightly. "Do you wanna come with me, going outside, getting fresh air?" Punz said, as he smiled.

"Hm? Outside?" Dream repeated, as he looked confused. "Wait... Don't tell me you don't know what 'Outside' is, as well??!!" Punz was surprised again, as he look at Dream with wide eyes. Dream slowly shook his head. "What is outside?" Punz sighed, as he look at Dream with a deadpan expression.

"Woah..." Dream mumbled, as he was led outside. He saw the beautiful view of nature, and he looked quite amazed at how beautiful it was.

"This is what I meant, outside." Punz said, as he inhale then exhale. Whilst Dream just keep on looking around the stunning view. Though, Dream was not familiar with the surroundings, as he slowly backs up..

Punz noticed, as he look at Dream. "Dream? Why are you backing up?" Punz asked. Dream look at Punz with a bit of concerned expression. "Sorry.. I'm not too familiar with the surroundings... Since, I'm used to being the egg, down there."

Punz sigh, as if he was understanding Dream's reasoning a bit. "Alright, you can go back down there. I'ma need to go now;" Punz says, with a little cheeky smile. Dream nodded his head slowly, as he smile back to Punz.

Punz then walk away, leaving Dream as Dream got back in the underground base with the egg. He look around, before he went behind the egg and hugged himself. He smiled to himself.. thinking of all the moments he had with Punz earlier, but.. the memory won't really last long..
