Chapter Ten

"Sa ka-gustuhan kong lumabas ng bahay. Napahamak pa kami." I sighed.

I tried to sleep pero what happened earlier really bothers me. I grabbed my phone from the counter and started calling Keith hoping the call will go through.

Seconds later and it started ringing. Napatayo naman ako sa tuwa.

"Hello?" He answered in a confused tone.

"If this is a bullshit scam. I swear I will trace this fucking number—."

"Love." Sabi ko.

Napahinto naman sya sa pag sasalita. "What do you want, Valeree." Feels like my heart skips a beat when he called me by my first name.

"I'm sorry, about sa nangyari kanina sa bar. I don't know how to properly apologise to you pero promise once na nagawan ko ng paraan 'tong situation ko. Ikaw agad ang pupuntahan ko."

"I love you, Keith. Please trust me."

"Val, love, I am sorry I act that way. I should've controlled my anger. Of course I trust you. But that shit? I don't trust him." He said.

"I promise, Love. I'll explain everything to you. I lov—." Naputol na yung call namin. Tiningnan ko yung bar sa top ng phone ko and its gone.

Hindi pa rin ako makatulog ng maayos but pinilit ko ang sarili ko matulog.

Trust me, Keith.

I woke up and it's not a good morning. Ang sakit ng ulo ko dahil hindi ako makatulog ng maayos kagabi.

"Ma'am? Lunch is ready na po. Na-missed nyo na po yung breakfast nyo." A maid knocked on my door.

I know this seems a bit rude but I don't feel like answering. I am not in the mood and I feel like I will cry whenever I said a word.

Naligo na ako at nag bihis. Bumaba na rin ako after kong ayusin ang dapat na ayusin sa room ko. It really is a mess, nagkalat lahat ng gamit na ginamit ko hapon.

Habang pababa ako ng hagdahan nakita ko na kinakausap nila si Nexus. Nexus is seating on the couch and si Mama at Papa naman nakatayo sa harapan nya.

"What are you two thinking?!" Galit na tanong ni Papa. Naka-uwi na pala sya from his business trip.

"Inda! Tawagin mo nga si Valeree kanina ko pa pinapakatok yan sa mga maids! Bakit hanggang ngayon wala pa rin?!" Gosh, galit na galit talaga si Papa.

"O-opo." Ate Inda replied.

"No need nandito na ako." Sabi ko. Pumunta ako kung nasaan sila Mama at Papa.

"Kauuwi ko lang tapos ganito pa madadatnan ko?! Kung hindi pa nakita ng Mama mo sa CCTV yung pag takas nyo. Hindi ko malalaman?! And that stupid guard really let Nexus in and out of our property without my consent?! Paano kung na-track kayo ng kalaban natin?!" Papa is mad furious. I am so dumb. Of course may mata si Papa sa buong bahay.

"I expected much more from the both of you. Specially you, Nexus. Gusto mo ba talaga mapahamak 'yang anak ko?" Nexus didn't say a word.

"I will make sure na makakarating ito sa Dad mo. And to you, Valeree. I am so disappointed. I know you were smart, why would you think of doing that? Didn't I already told you na gagawan ko ng paraan ang pagkagusto mong makatapos?"

"I-i know it's stupid Papa. I just can't take it here anymore, I want to explore the world again. Ayaw kong naka-stuck lang sa bahay, I want to do things." I explained.

"That's enough. You two go to your room. You can go outside of the house pero hanggang garden lang kayo. You two can use the pool pero mahigpit na naipagbabawal ang pag labas niyong dalawa. Is that clear? Valeree? Nexus?" Mama looks at us with dissatisfaction. She calmed down Papa then they went up to their bed room.

How can she be alright sa ganitong set up? Hindi ba sya nakukulong? Don't she missed her friends and when we used to hang out every weekend. Go out of town every two weeks.

I looked at Nexus. He's smirking while I'm disappointed at myself as well. "What is wrong with you?"

"Nothing. At lease di lang ako yung napagalitan." He is insane!

"Really? Proud ka pa talaga nyan? After mong makipag bugbugan kagabi, ngayon naman dinamay moko—" I'm surprised when he covered my mouth.

"Hindi kita pinilit, Val. Coming with me was your choice." He smirked once more then got up.

"Gusto mong makita yung boyfriend mo kaya ka nandito sa situation na to."

He left. Pumunta sya sa bakuran namin where the pool area were.

I went up to my room. He's right, hindi lang sya yung may kasalanan. I let out a deep sigh and lay down on my bed.

Minutes later a message pop up from my phone.

I'm here.
