I MADE MY WAY OVER to my best friend vance's house, i got there knocking on the door waiting for him to answer, he answered the door drying his hair "oh hey" he said "hi vance" i said smiling

"come in" he said as he opened the door, we walked up to his room, i sat at his desk chair spinning around and around in boredom "uhm...how about i get us some snacks, the grab n go's like right next to me" he said

"sure!" i said smiling "alright, i'll see you soon" he said as he walked out, i sighed looking around his room, i noticed a scrunched up piece of paper on his desk, i thought it might have been a drawing so i opened it

i began reading "dear y/n, this is so cringy i'm sorry but i don't know how to say it to you so i'm just writing it, i like you, a lot, as soon as i met you, you made me feel some type of way, i didn't like how you made me feel, it wasn't like me to feel that way about people, but you came along and showed me that i could feel love, your beautiful, smart creative, god i could make a whole list the size of mount Everest about how amazing you are, i would if i could. again this is so cringy and i'm probably not gonna give this to you but, never know, maybe one day i'll work up the courage to ask you to the drive in" the note read

i automatically smiled as my cheeks heated up, i scrunched the paper up, chucking it back on the spot i found it, the whole time i waited for vance to get back i was smiling and blushing like an idiot

i had a plan of what i was gonna say when he got back, or maybe if what i was gonna do, a few minutes went by of me sitting there and vance finally arrived, he walked threw the door with a bag of snacks

he placed them down and started getting them out, i walked over to him and sat down close to him, he looked up at me smiling "i got your favourite" he said passing me y/f/c, i smiled "thank you vance" i said smiling

i grabbed his cheek and placed a soft kiss on his lips, pulling away soon after, he stared at me in shock, eyes and mouth wide, i chuckled

he scratched his head nervously "uhm" he said chuckling as he smiled, a faint blush on his cheeks "also i'd love for you to take me to the drive in some time" i said smiling

he frowned at first before his eyes widened "no you didn't read that did you!?" he said, i smiled before nodding "oh uhm...really? you do?" he said

i nodded yet again "ofc i would" i said "uh when?" he said "whenever" i said smiling "tomorrow?" he said, i nodded "sounds good"
