Like last time, I added some references to the CCs and their content in the story. I added way more than last time though. Whoops.
Here they are:
"You got the cake, Bad." (Ch 1) - reference to a clip from Sapnap's Minecraft but Half the World is Missing video
Karl's asexuality - the CC has come out as on the ace spectrum, so I'm including it
"L in chat, I guess." (Ch 3) - reference to streams
"Dream's asking if we wanna go skating." (Ch 3) - reference to Sapnap and Karl's skateboarding
The cans of monster (Ch 5) - CC!Karl is often seen drinking Monster on stream
Any reference made to time travelling - of course based off of Karl's lore character, an idea by @Heido_o7
"Lay off the British reality." (Ch 7) - SSIV!George watches British reality, it's canon now
The promise rings (Ch 8) - reference to the lore in which c!Karlnapity has promise rings
Alex the roommate - Quackity of course. We need something to test their love
"Our president is a plant." (Ch 9) - reference from the movie Ghostbusters: Answer the Call. It's one of my favourite movies, and one of my favourite lines.
Alex's major in law - CC!Quackity is studying law.
Karl's queer studies teacher Scott (Ch 10) - reference to the CC SMajor
Cameraman flyer (Ch 11) - reference to Karl's old job on the MrBeast crew. Apparently he was an editor first, but I didn't know that when I started writing this.
Keith - Keith is Karl's old bully, named after the Ender Dragon in Tommy Innit's Dragon Mod video.
"...despite the fact that we're at half court." (Ch 15) - reference to the video of Sapnap doing a half court shot at a court outside somewhere and it going in.
Coach Luke - Punz. I'm pretty sure there's a video of him and Sapnap playing basketball somewhere on the internet.
Bench Trio - Why not?
"It's like Wilbur all over again." (Ch 17) - reference to TNT Duo in lore
MrBeast and crew/his job - a reference to Karl's job for MrBeast, and his friendship with them now
"Your balls were on fire!" "Isn't there a cream for that?" (Ch 18) - reference to a stream where Dream said that exact thing, except referring to himself, and Bad replied with the cream thing.
The couple on the plane (Ch 21) - may or may not have been Philza and Mumza.
"Twinsies, quirky." (Ch 24) - a reference to the comment section from SSIV when they got the matching black eyes
"...literal gremlin child." (Ch 26) - reference to what Wilbur calls Tommy all the time.
"14 minutes late." (Ch 29) - reference to Skeppy's number
There's a call-back to the "list of reasons when horror movies are good" from the first book (Ch 29)
"...hide and seek in an abandoned city." (Ch 32) - reference to one of MrBeast's old hide and seek videos
Hide and Seek video (Ch 32-33) - MooseGal18 told me that CC!Karl's first challenge was the 60K hide and seek video, which I literally did not plan at all. We went through a few of MrBeast's videos, but only a few, so we might be wrong, but Google said it was the boy scout one which is after the 60K hide and seek. So I think we're right. But I was freaking out because I literally had no idea and I found it very funny.
The white daisies (Ch 35) - a reference to an old photo with him surrounded by them
Eryn (Oneshot brothers) - reference to the lore/headcanon in which Eryn is Sapnap's brother
So there were a lot. Maybe I missed some. Did you spot them all? :]
