Before it could look at them longer, a bunch of Skarmory flies towards Team Rocket then popped their balloon with Flash Cannon that blows them up and making them launch into orbit
"Hey, what's your name?"
The guardian then felt a presence of danger nearby, "No, we'll discuss this later," it said to them. It flies away from them and goes to the presence he felt
When it got there, it's on a side of the mountain in the village, it sees two kids having a pokemon battle with someone with a Lairon mask. The kid's pokemon were Greninja, Pikachu, and Frogadier while the other is Bisharp
The guardian sees that the kids are losing the battle and the other person is commanding the Bisharp to stop them with Dark pulse. The move is heading straight at their pokemon and decided to intervene. The guardian went in and slashed the move with its blade, an explosion occurred by doing so but protected their pokemon safely
When the smoke clears, the guardian was seen by the kids who are Ash and Sanpei
"Whoa, look at that!"
"Did that sword just saved them?"
The other person wasn't expecting to see it suddenly appeared. The guardian goes up towards them to be in front
"Thank you... Erm, sword?"
"You can call me the guardian. I'm here to assist since there's someone coming here," the guardian said to them
"Wait, who?"
Then, someone came and showed it was Saizo with his pokemon Barbaracle in front of them to battle the person
"Saizo you're here!"
"So sorry I'm late," Saizo then turns to his Pokemon, "Razor shell!"
The Barbaracle's claw glows bright light before going towards the Bisharp and hit it with its claw
The Bisharp was fainted due to the result of the Barbaracle move
After the pokemon was fainted, they turned back to the person after defeating their pokemon
"It seems I'm outnumbered, but it looks like I've also bought enough time," they then took out their pokeball to return their Bisharp, "Bisharp, return!" A red energy comes out of the pokeball and goes to the Bisharp that return it to its pokeball before the person jumps off and lands on one of the Skarmory
Ash and Sanpei were about to follow them but Saizo stops them both as they watch him going away, "Stop there, going after him won't help, our chief into enemy hands and if we act carelessly we may lose our opportunity to save him, so we need a plan," he said to them
"He's right," the guardian said and they turned their heads to it
"Who are you anyway?"
The sword then released the light particles that form a humanoid shape that return back to its body
Saizo recognize the face, "Aren't you the guardian of Avalon?"
"You know it, Saizo?"
"So you knew me already," the guardian said
