This is the second chapter of the triquel: Fiendish Friends! Eric Miller and his family are going to bed after a long day, with the promise of demolishing the hellhole of a restaurant tomorrow. But sometimes your nightmares ... can be as real as the nose on your face! 😬 I hope that you guys like it! 👍

Meanwhile, outside the living room window, at the same time...

Unknown to Eric Miller and co, a few pairs of narrowed, hostile eyes were at that moment watching the family from outside the living room window. The moon riding high in the night sky was bright and clear; outlining the huge forms standing in the garden before the bush by the window.

Luckily for the newcomers, they were mostly hidden from inside view by the big bush itself. Almost as bright as the moon was the menacing grin on the face of Willy Weasel as he gazed straight at Eric Miller through the window.

The animatronic leader was currently surrounded by three of his crew: Gus Gorilla, Cammy Chameleon, and Tito Turtle. The three other robots all looked grim, and silently standing stock-still like their boss.

Willimeena Weasel was sitting quietly on Willy's left shoulder; all tense-looking and fidgety. All five individuals continued to gaze at the innocent, highly vulnerable family only a metre away, behind fragile glass.

"Awwww, look at that adorable, happy family, guys", the animatronic weasel drawled, his voice laden with sarcasm and barely disguised loathing. "Ain't that something, eh?"

The weasel pup's ears immediately flattened. She knew that particular tone of voice! Her father only used it when he was ROYALLY mad!!

Oh dear! Daddy's VERY angry! I do hope that it's over quickly, for everyone's sakes! Willimeena thought to herself, bowing her head sadly. That poor family's got no idea what's coming to them.

Meanwhile, Cammy, Tito, and Gus were all nodding along to their leader's sarcastic statement.

"They certainly are, Willy ... particularly when dissing our restaurant's commercial", the gorilla robot stated, his thick brow furrowing a lot. Cammy frowned as well.

"Yeah! So rude of them, we worked very hard making that!" she agreed, looking pointedly at all of the other people around her. They all nodded again, including Willimeena this time!

The little weasel smiled happily as she remembered happy memories of putting the colourful, playful commercial together with her father and adopted family.

Good times ... very happy times ...

"Right, Tito?" the pink chameleon continued, glancing at her sombrero-wearing colleague.

"Si, we did." Tito Turtle's normally cheerful eyes were now hard and filled with a cold, subtle anger. "And what's worse is that they're planning on destroying nuestra casa (our home)! ¡Sin avisarnos antes! (Without even telling us beforehand!)"

A deep, depressing silence suddenly fell upon the entire group of animatronics and doll at that.

Earlier that day, a few hours ago ...

After the Sheriff and his deputy had ordered the closure of Willy's Wonderland ... Tex Macadoo had quickly phoned up a local demolition firm. He asked the owner of it to meet him at the now closed restaurant, not knowing that he was overheard by Willimeena at the time.

Later on, Siren Sara, who'd then taken over scouting duty; witnessed the whole meeting between Tex Macadoo and the aforementioned demolition contractor: Eric Miller. She overheard everything about the planned demolition, the time assigned to it on the next day ... and then saw them officially shaking hands on it.
