I hate my teacher.

The amount of days I spent studying for that test. That test, which means a lot to me. That test, which I need to get an A in. I don't really like the subject, but hey, a girl's gotta do what she's gotta do to be a straight A student.

That test. Which my teacher still hasn't graded. I mean I get it can take long to mark tests, but come on, it's almost been a month! My parents think I'm hiding a bad grade from them. I don't want my parents thinking I got a bad grade.

I hate it when it feels like I'm the one putting all the work in, even though I love working hard, and I'm not even the one getting paid. I hate when my teacher complains about how they "have a life" besides school, when I've thrown away my life, my social life, to be a high achiever. So I can get into the college of my dreams.

Shouldn't teachers be encouraging us to learn? They always complain about students who aren't doing so well, students who aren't listening, students who are absent to class. If I wasn't so school-obsessed, I wouldn't come into your class either, sir.

Teach us. Excite us. Make us intrigued, curious. Don't make school any more of a chore than it already is.
