Chapter 37 - New friends

Third Person POV

"That's enough practice for now. You should go to the canteen now to eat."

"Arigato, coach"

They all went to the canteen and find a table and seat.

Once they set their things there, they went to get their food.

"May I sit here?"

"Um, sure?"

"Kageyama Tobio, right?"

"Yeah, how-"

"And Chigaya Eikichi?"

"Yeah, Atsumu Miya?"

"I'm glad you know me." Atsumu said smiling at the male.

"Who doesn't know the twin duo of Inarizaki. Afterall, you're going to Nationals right?" Chigaya asked the blonde in front of him.

"But I don't know who they are."

"We'll see each other at the Nationals, Tobio-kun."

"I see.  Good luck in beating us."

"Shiratorizawa from Miyagi Prefecture."

"That's right, how about you, Miya-san?"

"Inarizaki from Hyoko Prefecture."

"Hm, first time hearing it actually."

"I'm from Shinzen located at Saitama Prefecture."

"Ahh, that's why I saw you in the Training Camp held in Nekoma's school, I think."

"You're right about that. I have no time to talk to you and the whole Shiratorizawa team."

"That's why you're very familiar."

He just nodded.

"Let's eat for now and talk later."

"I agree with you Miya-san."

They all finished their food and put their plates back.

"Good Night, Eichiki-kun and Tobio-kun."

"Good Night, Miya and Kageyama"

"Good Night too"

Atsumu POV

Looks like Tobio-kun doesn't talk that much. There's nothing wrong about it though.

I was walking to my room when I bumped to someone.

"I'm very sorry." I apologized and extended my hand help them to stand up.

It turns out that he chose to stand up by himself.

"No need to, thanks though." He said then walks away.

"Sakusa Kiyoomi?"

"Yeah, and?" He said and turned around to face me.

"Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too, Miya Atsumu."

He just walked away and didn't continue our conversation.

"That's weird." I also walkee away and went to my room.

I laid in my bed and sighed in relief.

"The day's finally over. I can finally sleep."

Third Person POV

"What's for breakfast today, Eikichi-kun?"

"Scrambled eggs and bacon."

"You just made me even hungrier than earlier."

Chigaya just chuckled because of what Atsumu said.

"Yeah, it made me hungry too."

"Hey Eichiki, do you know who that guy is too?"

"You mean, Hoshiumi Korai?"

"The one with white spiky hair."

"Yeah, that's Hoshiumi Korai."

"What position does he play?"

"Spiker, actually the ace of the team."

"What, really?!" Atsumu said surprised.

"Yeah, I heard that he can jumps as high as a middle blocker too. He's very powerful. Just him, it will be hard to defeat him. The problem is he has a team that is also full of talented players." Eichiki said in a low voice.

"He stands out more, does he?" Atsumu asks while looking at the ace of the Kamomedai.

"Of course, he does. He's a very talented player." Eichiki said facing the blonde setter.

"I'll go get breakfast first."

"Yeah, me too."

They both got their breakfast and went to their table.

"Where's Tobio-kun?"

"Asleep? Practicing by himself? I don't know where he is." Eichiki said worriedly.

"Hey! Kageyama Tobio, right?"

"Yeah? Is there something you need from me?"

"Mark my words, me and my team will defeat you. Even if you have Ushijima, I have a trusted team that are very strong and talented.

"I'll look out for you in the Nationals then, Hoshiumi-san." Kageyama said then bowed.

Hoshiumi got his eyes wide open because of the respectfulness of the blueberry setter.

"Hello there, Miya-san and Chigaya-san."

"You got into a fight with Hoshiumi?"

"I'll not call it a fight though. Since I was just minding my own business and was about to go here, he just approached me and called my name."

"Mhm, and?" Atsumu said looking at the setter in front of him."

"It would be disrespectful if I just ignored him so I asked him what he needed. Then he told me things that he has a good team and they'll defeat Ushijima-san and the whole Shiratorizawa team."

"That's mean. Looks like he doesn't have that good attitude at all." Chigaya said to Kageyama.

"Okay so after that what happened, Tobio-kun?"

"I said that I'll look out for it then bowed respectfully."

"You're known for being respectful, huh?"

"I mean, it's practiced in our school to be like that. But I did that to a Karasuno member. I didn't even get to say sorry." Kageyama said looking down.

"Who was it?" Chigaya asked.

"Yamaguchi Tadashi, the one who can do a jump float serve."

"I see."

"Let's finish our breakfast so we can change and practice."

"I agree with Eikichi-kun. Let's eat now."

"Yeah, you're right."

"Thank you for the food."
