Chapter 14: She knows

Kies POV

I drove myself home that night and all I could think about was him. So me and JJ Maybank were talking now?! I couldn't believe it.

I went home and threw on his t-shirt again. I definitely needed to wash it by now but then it wouldn't smell like him. I was so down bad.

I was laying in my bed, replaying everything that had happened. I couldn't stop thinking about the way he looked at me. The way we kissed.

After a while of just thinking about him, I get a text notification on my phone.

SARAH:
-Someone's a little extra smiley since you left😉-

Oh god.

K:
-what do you mean?-

She sent back a picture of JJ on the couch next to her. He was trying to hide his face with his hand and he was leaning a little on the arm of the couch. the other hand was trying to block the camera. I could tell that he was blushing.

This made me nervous. What was I missing? Did he tell everyone? Or just Sarah? Or was Sarah just teasing him and messing with us like she usually did.

K:
-😂😂-

I sent back, just trying to act casual

She sent me another picture of JJ and john b hugging, with the caption "he's sad that you left"

I could tell they were all drunk, and I was really hoping that the pictures were just out of context.

K:

S:

K:
-what did he tell you?-

S:
-so there's something to tell?-

K:

She sent another picture and JJ was back on the couch but it was close up. The caption said
- he's trying to see what we're talking about-

K:
-were not talking about anything.-

S:
-that's what I told him... why's he so curious tho?😉-

K:

Omg this was killing me. I wanted to know what they were talking about so bad. It also looked like everyone was having so much fun and I just had to be bored at home. I hated how strict my parents were. I just wanted to spend the night with everyone else and have fun.

S:
-he said he misses you-

K:

S:
-he said he wants you to come back-

K:

S:
-he said he has a princess diary that he writes in about you-

I laughed and sat up on my bed. I then got a text from JJ

JJ:
-whatever she said.. she's lying-

K:
-LMFAO so no princess diary?-

JJ:

-Kie u should come back-

K:

JJ:
-yes u cannnn-

K:
-do you want me to be grounded all summer?-

JJ:

K:
