Shinji searched desperately for answers, trying to understand the true nature of Kaworu's world and the implications of staying with him. He combed through old NERV files and spoke with Misato and Ritsuko, but their answers were vague and unhelpful.

One day, Shinji received a message from an unknown sender. The message contained a location and a time, and urged Shinji to come alone. Despite his initial skepticism, Shinji's curiosity got the better of him, and he found himself making his way to the designated location.

He arrived at a dimly lit room, where he was met by several members of Seele. They spoke cryptically of their plans, hinting at a "final scenario" that would result in the destruction and rebirth of humanity. Shinji listened in horror as they revealed that Kaworu was actually an Angel, and that his continued presence on Earth could result in the destruction of all life.

Shinji's mind raced as he struggled to comprehend the gravity of the situation. He knew that he loved Kaworu deeply, but he also knew that he had a duty to protect humanity. He couldn't let his own selfish desires jeopardize the safety of the entire planet.

Despite his inner turmoil, Shinji knew what he had to do. He would have to leave Kaworu and return to his own world, even if it meant never seeing him again. Tears streamed down his face as he made the decision, but he knew it was the right one.

As he made his way back to Kaworu's world, Shinji felt a deep sadness wash over him. He knew that he would be leaving behind the one person who had truly understood him, and that he would be returning to a world filled with pain and loneliness.

Shinji sat on the edge of his bed, staring at the wall with a blank expression. His mind was in turmoil, his thoughts consumed by the meeting with Seele. He couldn't believe what they had told him, what they had planned.

The Third Impact. Seele's final plan to merge all human souls into one, to create a new world without pain and suffering. But at what cost? The destruction of the current world, the loss of countless lives, and the possibility of losing the person he loved most, Kaworu.

Shinji couldn't bear the thought of losing Kaworu. He had to protect him, even if that meant leaving him. He couldn't let Seele's plan come to fruition, no matter the sacrifice.

He got up from the bed and headed to the living room, where Kaworu was sitting, looking at him with concern. Shinji's eyes were red and puffy, his face pale.

"Shinji, what's wrong?" Kaworu asked, standing up and walking towards him.

Shinji didn't answer, he just hugged Kaworu tightly. He could feel his heart racing, his mind filled with fear and uncertainty.

"What's going on, Shinji? Please tell me," Kaworu said softly, his arms wrapped around Shinji, trying to comfort him.

Shinji pulled away from Kaworu and looked into his eyes. "Kaworu, we have to leave. Seele's plan, the Third Impact, it's going to destroy the world, and I can't let that happen. I have to protect you, even if that means leaving you."

Kaworu's expression changed from concern to confusion. "What are you talking about, Shinji? What's the Third Impact?"

Shinji explained everything to Kaworu, Seele's plan to merge all human souls into one, the destruction of the world, and the possibility of losing him. Kaworu listened carefully, his face filled with shock and horror.

"I can't believe it," Kaworu said, his voice barely above a whisper. "How can they do something like that? How can they justify the loss of so many lives?"

Shinji shook his head. "I don't know, Kaworu. But we have to stop them. We have to find a way to prevent the Third Impact."

Kaworu nodded in agreement. "I'll do whatever it takes to help, Shinji. We'll stop them together."

Shinji smiled, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. He knew he could count on Kaworu to help him, to support him, to be by his side no matter what.

They spent the next few hours researching and planning, trying to find a way to prevent the Third Impact. They knew it wasn't going to be easy, but they were determined to succeed.

As they worked, Shinji couldn't help but feel a sense of guilt. He was putting Kaworu in danger, risking his life to save the world. He knew he had to be strong, to do what was necessary, but it still hurt to think about.
