disclaimer:

- this book is a sequel to the book sins, which follows tlou1. i recommend reading that first if you haven't already, as there are major parts of this story that hinge on the knowledge from that book. mainly your backstory and such

- this is obvious, but i cannot and most likely will not be able to depict all of your characteristics, manners, likes and dislikes etc, in this retelling. however, i will do my very best to create a story that satisfies the general audience with your decision-making, wording, and characteristics

- my main goal in any retelling is to avoid specifics like the color of your skin, hair color, hair texture/type, body descriptions, etc. however, some may not be as avoidable, and in some cases, i will describe certain features (most likely nonspecific) of yours to enhance descriptions and the enjoyment of the reading

- any imagery containing skin color, hair type, etc, will not be canon--because of course that is an aid for visualization and not actually you

- this of course is fiction, not everything mentioned will be true to reality, completely accurate, or something you yourself are capable of (consider this as a retelling of you if you were in tlou, not with the capabilities you have in the modern world).

- modifications from the gameplay will be made. ex: ellie in this retelling will be taller than her canon heigh (don't ask i really just see her as slightly taller idk) though it will mostly be canon compliant with slight adaptations

- of course, you can imagine ellie as bella ramsey's depiction or ellie from the video game, however because this is written based on the gameplay, visualization will include video game ellie (and because season 2 isn't out yet--)

- some chapters may have allusions of sex (no actual smut) and ellie + reader will of course be 19+ for those scenes

- song recommendations may be provided at the beginning of some chapters, mostly of the nu-metal/rock category. if this does not fit your tastes, that's fine! the chapters are not songfics, and the lyrics hold no canonical value, they are simply there to immerse and enhance the reader's experience

- updates will come every sunday (i may miss a few updates due to my busy schedule/because this book is planned to be much longer, and chapters will usually range from 4-10k words. please try to be understanding!!)
