Chapter Ten: Let it be SLYTHERIN!!!

Start from the beginning

Throughout the feast Harry could feel eyes on him and every time he looked over to Draco the blond would whip his head in another direction, Harry knew that they had to talk and he did find it funny that Draco was trying to pretend he hadn't been looking at Harry. Then Draco turned and they locked eyes, this time Harry getting caught for staring at Draco. At that moment they had a silent understanding that they would talk after the banquet.

- HADRIAN'S POV -

The banquet was over and all the new members of the house were getting told the rules of the house, I could feel Snape's eyes boring into me and my brothers.

"Now, if you are to try any tom foolery, if you are caught do not expect me to be lenient in any way," Snape chides and I could tell he was looking directly at me and the twins when saying this.

"That will be all for the rules, the password to the common room will be posted each week above the fireplace, boys to the right and girls to the left. Potter as the only 4th year to join Slytherin you will be joining Draco, Blaise and Theodore in their room. Weasleys, you will be getting your own room as the sixth year's room is already full." After that Snape continued on with the room assignments to the other new additions, those already called out were allowed to go.

As I started to head up the stairs, Draco grabbed my arm and started pulling me along, I looked back to see Blaise giving me a thumbs up as if encouraging and Theo just looked confused and bored. Blaise had probably figured out what had been going on during the banquet.

"Soo how was your summer Draco-" I ask casually trying to break the tension between us as he dragged me into what I could only guess was our room.

"How do you know my full name, and what was that connection at the World Cup?" He growls pushing me against a wall.

"Pretty sure you know the answer to the second one, and your full name was on my inheritance test under a certain category~" I hum giving Draco a knowing look.

"Not possible, I've seen my inheritance test and it doesn't say 'Harry Potter' anywhere on it." Draco accuses.

"That's because my name's not 'Harry Potter'," I roll my eyes as if it's the most obvious thing in the world. I snapped my fingers and a copy of my inheritance test popped out of nowhere, I handed it to Draco who silently took it and looked it over, his eyes going wide.

"Fred and George aren't actually Weasley's are they?" Draco says finally looking at me.

"Hmm nope," I grin, wrapping my arms around Draco's neck tentatively. When I did it, Draco seemed to relax and let his arms sit at my hips softly.

"I'm sorry, I'm meant to be your mate and I never suspected anything, and when the connection finally clicked I didn't believe you..." Draco apologises.

"It's not your fault, if anyone's to blame it's that knock off Gandalf who's at fault." I smile up at him, being just a bit shorter than Draco.

"But still..." Draco tries but I cut him off.

"No but's, not unless we're talking about one of ours." I grin, his face going red.

"Are we sure that old Harry was still you?" Draco questions with a raised eyebrow, a slight smirk on his face.

"Oh shut up, I'm not that different." I roll my eyes, but my smile probably gives me away.

"Hmm that reminds me, why don't you look different?" Draco asks, looking me up and down, to which makes me roll my eyes.

"Simple, I have a glamour so as to not set off alarms with our dear headmaster that I now know the truth." I hum.

"Will you drop the glamour for me?" Draco asks, looking genuinely curious.

"Of course, how can I say no to my mate?" I say with a flirtatious smirk that he snorts at.

With a little difficulty I drop the glamour revealing what I actually look like. From the glowing stitches to the changes in my physical features. I hear him take a deep breath as he looks at me, I had closed my eyes out of an inherent fear that he wouldn't like what he saw.

"Beautiful." I heard him whisper and then I felt his hand on my face and I opened my eyes only to meet him straight on, our lips connecting. In that moment it felt like the outside world melted away around us and we were the only ones left standing. My breath was stolen from me as he deepened the kiss, his tongue invading my mouth as I clutch onto him as if he were my life force.

That's when we were interrupted by a loud cough ruining the mood, we turned to look at the offender to find an amused Blaise and very confused Theo, Draco growled pulling me closer to him as if to hide me from our intruders which only made me blush harder.

"Draco it's okay, Blaise knows," I mutter to Draco who does calm down.

"Hope you know that this means I will snog your brother in front of you as much as I like, Harry." Blaise teases jokingly.

"I will hex you if you try." I glare back at him.

"Can someone explain?!" Theo finally asked looking really confused which only made me laugh.

"Draco and I are mates," I state simply with a smile on my face as I turn back to Draco.

There was a knock at the door as Fred stuck his head in. "Hey Harrykins have you seen- Blaise..."

Before Blaise or anyone else in the room could say anything, Fred had kidnapped Blaise, dragging him out of the room. Draco turned to me with a questioning look, as if asking if I knew anything about what had just happened.

"Blaise and Fred are mates, don't worry, Fred won't hurt Blaise." I hum with a smile on my face. "Sorry Theo, I'll explain everything later, currently I have a lot to explain to Draco." I say giving Theo an apologetic look.

"Nah it's okay, I understand, just remember Snape comes by at 11pm to check everyone's in bed." Theo waved before heading back out.

Draco and I end up sitting on his bed as we talk, but I could tell that something was troubling Draco and that he was trying to figure something out.

"Draco, you're thinking too loud." I hum nudging him.

"Sorry, it's just the last name Riddle sounds eerily familiar but I can't put my finger on it, there's also the fact there's no way my father will approve of us, no matter how you've changed." Draco voices his concern.

"Riddle is a muggle name so don't think about it too hard, but, your father will definitely approve." I grin mischievously.

"Hmm alright I'll trust you but there's no way my father will accept you. It'll only be when pigs fly, cows jump over the moon and I'll be wearing a dress" Draco says looking down, thinking he wouldn't be able to have me, making it seem impossible.

"Then we have a bet." My grin widens.

"Alright, but what happens when you lose?" Draco challenges

"I'll be your personal maid for a full day." I decide and Draco nods agreeing to the bet.

"Then it's settled." He offers his hand out for me to shake and I take it, we shake on the bet.

"I still swear I've heard the name Riddle before." Draco huffs.

"My dad was head boy for Slytherin in his seventh year so you probably saw it there." I yawn, trying to tug at Draco to come snuggle me.

"Ohhh that makes sense, yeah I probably saw it there then." Draco replies smiling down at me as I try to pull him to cuddle with me, he obliges and wraps his arms around me as I start to fall asleep.
