Unexpected Inheritance [REWRITE]

Chapter Five: Charlie

Charlie had remembered everything after the oblivious spell had broken on him. It had been one hell of a trip to Gringotts when it had first happened. He had been debating for years how to get his brothers away from that family, but he knew it wasn't going to be all that easy. Then Harry as well? It was almost impossible.

So when Gringotts sent him a letter asking him to come in? He wasn't expecting what they had to tell him. He sat there in shock, Harry had gone into an early inheritance and had found out everything. On top of that by pure luck Harry had run into the twins and had brought them in as well.

"Now the twins have lied to Molly and are staying with Hadrian at the Potter estate if you wish to go see them." Griphook says.

"Wait- Really- Alright thank you I might just go do that." Charlie says still in a bit of shock.

"Alright then, please do come back if you come across anything else that we can use in this case." Griphook stated before ushering the man out.

Charlie instantly headed to a place he could apparate from before disappearing to the Potter Estate. He headed up the path to the front door and before he could even get there the door had been slammed open and the twins were barrelling towards him. He didn't have enough time to prepare before he was being flattened against the ground by the two sixteen year olds.

"CHARLIE!" The two had shouted and the eldest couldn't help but laugh.

"Hey Fred, George." Charlie smiled.

"Why'd you never say anything!" George piped up glaring at their older brother.

"I couldn't find the right time-" Charlie tried.

"Ah huh-" Fred said, giving Charlie a glare.

"Where's Harry?" Charlie said, trying to divert the attention.

"Oh Mini, the head house elf, is keeping him hostage." George hummed.

"Something about how bad his health is and how he needs to take more care of himself." Fred finished for George.

Charlie sent the two a concerned look at that. Both twins sighed and looked like they were trying to decide on how best to explain it to Charlie. It looked like quite the intense telepathic conversation that the two boys were having. Charlie just waited patiently for the two to actually tell him.

"Unlike us- Harry wasn't put in the best environment." Fred says softly.

"They barely fed him Charlie-" George added on.

Charlie was silent, he had the urge to go to the house Harry had been sent to and make sure that the Dursleys got the punishment that they deserved for what they did to his little brother. But what stopped him was Harry finally walking out the front door, he looked way too thin and Charlie wasn't sure what to think of the stitches on Harry's neck, wrist and ankles. Harry smiled at him, and as Charlie stood back up with the twins, Harry rushed over and Charlie was able to pull Harry into a hug.

"I'm sorry you had to learn about this the way that you did." Charlie said to Harry.

"It's alright, it's worth it, I get to be with my real family. And I'm no longer under Dumbledore's control." Harry smiles.

"Well, I'm just glad you're okay and getting better." Charlie smiled.

It was after this that the twins led them all back into the building. They ended up in one of the tea rooms where the elves were quick to supply the four brothers with some tea and some small snacks. The snacks in front of Harry, were specifically a lot more then the snacks that were closer to either of the twins and Charlie.
