The house was in chaos, it was the morning of all those under 18 going back to Hogwarts. Some hadn't finished packing, while others had and were waiting on the rest to finish packing. Meanwhile Molly was fluttering about, breakfast now being over she busied herself by cleaning up the giant mess breakfast left since she didn't really want to have to clean it later.
"Harry! Can you help me finish packing?" Ginny asked shyly.
Harry let out soft, unheard groan as he knew this was a ploy for Ginny to try to get close to him, and since he had already finished packing he really didn't have an excuse.
"Go on then Harry," Molly smiled.
And with that, Harry was forced to go help Ginny finish packing since Molly would throw a fit if he had refused. He wished that he could go against her right now, but it wasn't the time nor place for it and he rather not have to rely on his brothers to get him out of any incident that might occur. So he just followed Ginny.
"So, Harry~ Is there anyone you fancy~?" Ginny flirts.
"There is someone but I don't think that's any of your business." Harry says dryly.
"Come on Harry, you can tell me, better yet I'd probably be a better option." Ginny says as she wraps her arms around Harry's neck.
"As much as I appreciate that Ginny. I'm not interested in you in the slightest or anyone of your gender." Harry says coldly, extracting himself from Ginny.
"You can't be serious Harry, you, you can't be f-faggot!" Ginny shouted horrified.
Harry let out a heavy sigh giving Ginny an unimpressed look that said everything. He looked at Ginny with the most hateful look he could muster "And guess who's fault that is? Now do you want me to help you or not?"
"I'll make you understand Harry, you've just gotten away from yourself a bit, but no you can go." Ginny says way too hopeful and Harry wondered what would get through that thick head of hers.
He left the room begging and praying to whatever god was out there that Ginny wouldn't try to drug him with love potions during the year, but he knew that was a big ask considering fate seemed to be out for him.

The crowds of Kings Cross Station were busy as alway, Harry grumbling knowing that he would have to run into that damned wall all over again. He was a little annoyed that he had to go with the Weasleys but they seriously couldn't have just used the floo instead? Sure you got soot all over you but it was better than dealing with muggles potentially seeing them run face first into a wall.
As they arrived on platform 9 ¾, Harry slipped away, leaving Ron to fend for himself though Hermione was harder to ditch, not that Harry minded her being around. He had been hoping to get a moment alone with her to explain what had been happening since she had proved herself trustworthy.
"Harry, why are we leaving Ron back there?" Hermione asked, looking confused.
"I'm going to explain things, and Ron has no business hearing anything I'm going to tell you." Harry explains as he leads Hermione to near the back of the train where they were more likely to get a free compartment away from any prying ears.
"What's going on Harry? Is this about what happened before we went to the world cup?" Hermione questioned as they made their way into a compartment.
"Yes, this does also include Fred, George and Charlie, and why I don't want Ron hearing this." Harry said as he locked the compartment door, shut the curtains and put up a wandless and wordless ward that stops people from listening in.
