I listened to her heartbeat slow, and her breathing slowing down as she fell asleep on me.
I lifted her up and carried her towards the bedroom, trying not to wake her as the steps creaked under me.
I nudged the door open with my foot. Something I've done many times before sneaking in and laying with her sleeping frame.
I lay her down and cover her up,taking my mask off and setting it down next to me on the floor.
As I crawled into bed I pulled her close, breathing in the honey-like perfume that I had gotten for her.
As I felt the drowsiness also start to hit, I wrapped my arms around her trapping her in a warm embrace.
