5: Over You

A friendship not wasted
Is one that teaches you a lesson,
We can laugh when both are in the wrong,
but when just one is right,
It hurts the most.

My journey through your turbulent seas,
taught me to expect a shipwreck anytime,
I tried accepting your weather,
but it kept changing without a sign.
You taught me that you were humble,
While hailing marbles of narcissism.
And when I said you should try to heal your  depression,
That wasn't sarcasm.

When I gave you a constructive criticism,
Thinking of your future,
You instantly took that as an insult
And made your departure.

Now, if that's what makes you happy,
Why am I to intrude?
You will be the one to regret,
I will be over you.
