Authorised innocence, they don't go far
Unauthorised innocence, they roast till charred
And the red hot iron melts against their skins
But they envy their weaker kins!
The Persian cats are purring in castles
Marble sculptures of Goddess Bastet
They get glory for being divine
They scream Me! Me! Me!
And we build them shrines.

We have it easy, official gypsies
The supplementary teachers are learning philosophy,
While,
Their hair; shimmering with jewels and silver,
Their traditions are the only ones that matter.
The 10 ton diamond gets carved into a fairy
And the carvers only get a penny, most likely
When, they break the diamonds with hands of cotton
But the golden palanquin is for the classy ones.
