" Ughh......" I say sleepy as I sit up. Ms. Chalice is curled up in a ball next to me. I want to wake her up but I let her sleep. I get out of bed a throw on a shirt. I start walking down stairs as I hear dishes clinking. Mugman is already up.
" Hey Mugsy....." I say as I slump into my seat.
" You seem much more tired than usual. What did you do last night?" Mugman asks me washing a plate. Crap. I cant just tell him " Oh YeA mE aNd ChAlIcE hAd ***".
" Nothing?" I say. Really? Thats what I thought of? God I wish I was smarter sometimes.
" Whatever you say. Make yourself some cereal. I bought a new box of Cocoa Puffs," Mugs says now washing a cup.
I get up and grab a bowl. I go in the fridge and grab the milk. I then grab the cereal and pour it in my bowl. Then adding my milk.
" Can you give me some milk?" Mugs ask, now drying off the dishes.
" Sure," I grab the milk carton and start pouring it in Mug's head.
" NOT TOO MUCH! YOU'RE GONNA MAKE A MESS!!!" Mugman yells at me.
" Geez sorry!!!" I snap back. I sit back down and start eating my cereal. I then start hearing footsteps from the stairs.
" Hi....." Says a drowsy voice.
" Good morning!" Mugman replies now putting away the dishes.
" Good morning honey," I reply taking a bite of my cereal. Ms. Chalice sits down next me resting her head on my shoulder.
" When are we gonna get the test?" Chalice whisper to me sleepily.
" Today, we just need to get ready," I whisper back.
" Well Im gonna get ready now then," She says back standing up, " Im gonna get dressed," Ms. Chalice says out loud so its doesnt seem weird how she came downstairs and then right back up.
" Mkay!" Mugs replies cleaning up spilt water from the dishes.
I finish me cereal quickly and go up too.
TIME SKIP TO THEM AT THE STORE
"Where would the pregnancey ( I need help with spelling-) test be......." I think to myself as I walk up and down all the isles. After 10 minutes of looking I finally found them. I grab one a checked it out.
" Can I get a thing of Gummy Bears? " Ms. Chalice asks.
" No," I say back.
" Pleaseeeeeeeee," She says back. Well now I cant say no.
" Fine,"
" Thanks Love!"
TIME SKIP TO THEM BACK AT HOME
" Mmmmmm! These Gummy Bears are delicious!" Ms. Chalice says happily as she walks into the house. I walk in after and shut the door behind me. I hand her the test and she walks into the bathroom. I assume Mugman is in our room, for he isnt on the couch. He could also be at Bowlboys.
I pace back and forth as I wait for the results. Ms. Chalice then walks out crying. She holds out the test to me.
" Ill just look at it. I love you, but Im not touching that after you peed on it. Thats gross," I say. I then look at the test.
Positive! Its positive! Im gonna be a dad!!! I start tearing up. I hug Chalice tight.
This is the best day ever!!!
