Love Sick

Me and Mugsy walked home after that. My bubbling went down and my heart beat went to normal. My face was now more of a rose color than tomato red. " Are you ok Cup?" Mugman asked me. " I think so," I replied. " That was so outta the blue! I mean, one second your fine and then when Chalice showed up you-" He stopped speaking for a second. He had also stopped walking. I wasnt gonna be a jerk and leave him so I stopped too. 

" Is somthin wrong Mugsy?" I asked him. He looked over with a smirk on his face. I was very confused. " Hey, whats happening?!" I said. " Whats happening my dear brother is that your sick," He said. " Yea thought that was kinda obvious..."

" No Cuphead," he said, " You dont have a fever. You have a crush," 

" WHAT?!?!" I exclaimed, " NU UH!!! LOVE IS GROSS AND UR DUMB FOR THINKING THAT I WOULD EVER FALL IN LOVE!!!" I yelled. I ran home. I opened the door aggressivly and shut it. I stomped upstairs and slammed the door to my room. I lay on my bed and curled up into a ball with a pillow in my hands. I was very mad. I would never fall in love. never ever ever! Especially Chalice. Weve known her since the mousolems. I mean, sure, she was pretty, smart, funny... Did I say pretty? I meant beatiful, She deserves the world. She- wait... did I just say all those things?! Was I really falling inlove...... I grabbed my phone and looked up the symptoms of having a crush. I had almost all of them. Maybe I did have a crush... I though about it for awhile.

After some time I was sure about my answer. I did. I Cuphead [ Insert last name ] loved Ms. Chalice. It felt good to say that in my head. I then had the urge to say it out loud. " I love Ms. Chalice...." I said to myself with a smile on my face. " AHA! I KNEW IT I KNEW IT, IIIIII KNEW IT!!!!!!" Mugman yelled as he bursted through the door. My face got a little red. " Ok, ok, I do," I admitted, " But, Please dont tell anyone, " 

" I would never, " Mugman said as he reached out for a hug. I hugged him back, obviously. Wasnt gonna leave a bro huggless. " Can I tell you somthing...." Mugman said as he let go. He shut the door. I then knew that this was serious. I sat down on my bed and he sat down next to me.  "I-" He said but then stopped. " Im not ready.... Im sorry but, give me more time. This is important and I just need more time. " 

" Ok. Thats ok Mugsy, " I hugged him.
