“Wake up wakey wakey Wake up” I said in the most soothing voice I could come up with. The last thing I want to do is to piss my boss. She groaned as she looked at me.

I quickly gave her my sweetest smile. She looked at me weirdly then rolled her back.

“Dear mam, your bath is prepared and ready” I said wanting her to get up.

She has to wake up. She has an early day. First she has a meeting with the Chairman of Ank wears in about one hour from now then she has another meeting in about two hours from now.  She didn’t even respond; she still has her eyes closed and her body seems relaxed.

“Dear mam” I said with a sigh. What am I going to do? Obviously I can’t shake or pat her except if I wanted to kiss my job goodbye, which I rather wouldn’t. Oh God, help me because I am so clueless.

“Dear mam, I hope you do know that there is water around the corner. I deeply suggest you should wake up. Besides you have an early start.” I said while keeping my smile.

She jolted up and narrowed her eyes. I quickly hid my smile and looked at her with innocent eyes. She glared at me for a while before voicing out her thought.

“Are you threatening me, miss Bisa?” she said as she mocked me. I kept my face neutral but in my mind, all I am just doing is laughing. I mean who wouldn’t especially the way Mrs. Nuhr is glaring at me.

“Certainly not my dearest mam, I was hoping you would get the hidden meaning. However, I wouldn’t say I am disappointed; I mean not everyone can understand” I said as I glared down innocently as if I just didn’t insult my boss.

Just great Adeela, just great. I am getting myself fired. I better do something before my boss feels insulted.

“Ummm, I believe what I meant is that it is a silent threat which could be seen as a warning, it is often done for a reaction. And dear mam, that is what I want; a reaction from you.” I said, wanting to elucidate what I meant before getting fired.

I sighed in relief as my boss didn’t say anything further. She just glared at me and laid down back in an attempt to sleep.

“I am afraid but you have an early start so I believe sleep shouldn’t be an option right now” I said in a polite way of informing her she is supposed to be preparing for her day.

“Then cancel it” she simply said.

“I hope you know how impatient Mr. Ayobami is” I said and she groaned.

“Why?” she glared at me and I raised my eyebrows at her, a corner of my lips twitched.

“Do I humor you?” she narrowed her eyes at me and I chuckled. Anyone would notice from her tone that she is playing.

“Of course not, but I believed I told you about the meetings you set up” I said with a smile. I am so happy I didn’t set any of those meetings so if she complains to me I will simply told her ‘I told you so’.

I clearly told her that these meetings are too early but she said ‘time is precious and not something of waste but something to utilize’ and I simply replied with an ‘okay o’. she just glared at me and it made me widen my smile because I know she can’t grumble about the meetings so she has no choice but to silently go to the meeting she set up by herself.

The thought of her finally standing up made me grinned but it seems my thought will just remain a thought of mine because right now Mrs. Nuhr laid down back after all the pros and cons. OH GOD!!!, I finally understood how my mother used to feel when she is waking me every morning.

I feel frustrated and worried at the same time because I know it will be bad if Mrs. Nuhr miss this meeting and I also know I will partially be blamed.
