Hi all, and welcome to my story, Final Crisis! The point of this introduction is to introduce some concepts that I couldn't figure out a way of properly explaining in the story; you'll see what I mean.

For starters, this world is an alternate world from our own. There is different history and things that happen. For example, this is a universe in which Earth has been taken much better care of by humans than in 'our' universe (so to speak).

There's new cities, new towns, that sort of thing. That way, when one is brought up (for example, there's one known as Frenesda) you're not so confused by it. I am considering adding in little notes regardless describing these new areas to an extent as well :)

Here are some other things, separated between being important and sorta miscellaneous:

Important:
- Cars are much more fuel efficient in this world than our own

- Thanks to the aforementioned improved environmental care, there are many more recreational zones and national parks around the world

-Education standards are also generally higher in this world, particularly in subjects like world languages (so in the U.S for instance, the average person knows roughly 4 languages)

- There are different standards in this world for what humans can do and survive through. I guess this can be considered a "hyper-exaggerated reality", so if people start pulling off some crazy stuff you know why.

Don't worry though, this doesn't mean people are gonna be throwing cars around, leaping buildings, or anything insane like that :p

This just more so applies to injuries, like people bleeding out for longer than they realistically should or tanking through injuries alarmingly well, for example. Again, this doesn't mean people are gonna be walking off headshots or anything like that

This applies to pretty much everyone though, so it's not an instance where, say, only major characters receive this treatment and no one else does :p

I wouldn't say this is something that shows up a whole lot in this first part, but is something to keep in mind for later parts if you keep on reading (and if I actually get them finished lol)

There is eventually an in-world explanation for this, but it takes a while before we reach that point :p

- Clothing and gear worn by people such as firefighters and police are quite resistant and are bulletproof. Protective gear such as welding helmets are often bulletproof as well

- There's many new species and types of plants, fruit, vegetables, and more

Miscellaneous:
- College and healthcare are free in the U.S (what a dream am I right)

- Many cities have buildings covered in fauna and endorse nature much more

(something like this, for example)

- Different eye colors not seen in 'our' world are naturally present here (colors like pink, purple, red, etc.) The same applies with hair colors

That's all for now, happy reading! :)
