Their love for each other. (II)

Start from the beginning

"Well damn! You didn't have to do that!" He quickly said, brushing himself off and sitting up on the wall. I stood up from the bed and walked towards the chair until the door jolted open. There was now a stubby-legged creature marching our way with bruises covering him. "Zoro, you can leave now." He told me, climbing up the bed and checking the cook's vitals. As I was about to step foot outside, a long-nosed man with bandages all over strolled passed me. I whipped my head in his direction as he stood in fear, shaking all over.

"Usopp.." I said silently. He ran off to the doctor and sat beside Sanji who had just finished getting his vitals checked. I reached for the door knob and slammed it shut, leaning my head against it after. I wondered if he watched us move on top and under each other, immediately getting me worked up. I heard a few voices coming from outside the door but could it have been our sniper, Usopp? Our position was quite odd to see out of context. I laid my tanned arms in front of my face and blushed intensely, re-creating that same moment in my head.

Just then, Luffy ran past me and a gush of wind blew me down. I twirled onto the ground and massaged my bump, glaring at the captain warily. "Sorry Zoro!" He shouted in the distance, holding onto some bills. As I gradually got up, Nami sprinted towards Luffy and relentlessly shouted at him. I sighed in annoyance as I looked on both sides and more cautiously stood up again, scratching my ruffled up hair and going down towards my nap place. As I laid my swords beside me, Robin approached me with a mischievous smile, holding onto her tea and books as usual. We exchanged looks at each other for a while until she spoke up, settling in beside me.

"You and Sanji-san have been awfully quiet toward each other. On top of that, you spent all your time up in the Crow's Nest except you dare come out when he shows up. Not that I like making assumptions, but do you like Sanji-san?" She suspected me calmly as my body shook in surprise. I grasped onto my swords and glared at her viciously, tilting it onto my lap while sitting up. I cleared my throat and spoke, "Why would I like him out of everyone? I don't think of him like that. He's my rival and we train each other's strength by fighting regularly; I expected you of all people to think that." I tried to cover up, staring directly into her eyes.

She laid her head onto her hand and gave me a slight smile, especially after seeing my defensive side. "That's enough, Zoro-san. Thank you." She whispered, patting my head while standing up and leaving to plant her flowers. I straightened my robe and began to shut my eye again, thinking about her suspicions. My mind was a train wreck, wondering about all sorts of unnecessary thoughts. Am I that madly in love with him that I think hard about how to respond to the person? When I lied to her, was I too obvious about my love for him? I continued to wonder for unanswered questions until I felt a sudden presence in front of me and shallow breaths being blown onto my messy hair.

As I gradually opened my sagging eye, it shot open upon seeing a neatly worn suit. "What are you?-" I shut up when I saw him sit down beside me while lighting a fire to his cigarette. He let out some smoke and turned to look at me, dozing off into my eyes. "Moss-head, I'm gonna keep it short here." He murmured to me while slowly crawling towards me. Once he made it close enough, he planted himself onto my lap while lying down on my chest. I began to heat up as I shakily held his chest, swallowing a ball of saliva stuck in my mouth. I caressed his stomach in all directions before finally snapping out of it and abruptly stopping.

He grinned at me while placing his hand on mine, resting his head back. I could smell his scent as I quickly tried to ignore it, resuming to stroke his bandaged body. I looked around us and noticed nobody around: the rest of the crew was likely sleeping, chatting, or doing their own work.

After staying in that same nap spot for a while, I took my free hand and snatched the swords, using it as a ledge to help me up. He got up and yawned loudly, still trying to recover from the sudden awakening. "Good morning, honey." I teasingly said, standing in front of him and curling a strand of hair. He blushed brightly in the sunshine as he strode past me, pushing me out of the way.

"Don't call me such! Leave me alone, jerk!" He bellowed, still facing his back on me and trembling slightly in embarrassment. I chuckled and pulled his arm back, instantly taking him aback. His skeletal body fit perfectly on mine, making me more aroused just thinking about it. Then, he squeezed my arm and twisted it the other way, causing me to kick him on the side due to reflex. "Reflex." I spoke, helping him up in which he proudly ignored. He fixed his hair on the way to the kitchen as I followed him into the room. The moment we entered, the room had gone silent and all members inside jolted upwards towards us.

"Did we interrupt something? Go on." I announced to everyone as they resumed on make loads of unnecessary noises. Luffy, for one, was moaning in pain because of how much marshmallow's were stuffed inside his mouth. Secondly, Franky, Usopp, and Chopper decided to dock into one except they didn't get to try any cool tricks due to the room being too cramped. I clasped me and Sanji's hands together before making our way to behind the counter where Sanji prepared a few kabobs for snacks. After finalizing all kabobs, he tossed them to each member— only politely giving it to Nami and Robin. Now, he was getting the orange juice ready for the ladies and sake to satisfy me.

"Moss, catch." He said in command, throwing away the sake and spinning around to finish the orange juice he prepared. He brought out a tray and placed them onto it, handing them out to the ladies and receiving a quiet giggle in return. I curled my lip, peacefully drinking sake from underneath the counter. I stayed hidden, only making loud noises of munching when it came to eating the kabobs. Sanji knelt down, finding a spot beside me and exhaling a large amount of smoke on my face. "Today sure is noisy." He noted while leaning against the wall and inhaling the smoke. I stared at him, craving to feel his touch and those warm, shallow breaths on my skin.

He grabbed my rear hair lightly and pulled it towards his shoulder, making me rest on him. Still exasperated from the sudden change in position, my breaths came out shaking and my face lit up to a dark, crimson red. My face tensed up as I grasped onto his neatly made suit and ruined its perfection. We sat there in silence while everyone was jabbering about; either munching on the lunch Robin had made or just being a dick and causing commotion.

"Zoro, do you like me?"
