"Kai is your rival and they have only killed one person." I said as Ronin shook his head. "He is but I know I throw way better parties then him. That's besides the point the killer has killed more then one."

My heart dropped as Ronin said that. "I need you to do this."

"Why do I have to go alone though?" I questioned slowly.

"You don't have too..." Ronin trailed off. Making me look at him in confusion.

"I can go technically it's just this is being hosted by your school. Which if you don't know my school doesn't get along. Not to mention your friends hate me." Ronin explained.

"I don't care I'm facing a murder I need someone with me!" I defended as Ronin nodded. "I guess we are hanging out together sweetheart."

I extended my phone to which he put his number in it. "I can't wait." I replied sarcastically.

Ronin chuckled then snapped his fingers bringing the same taxi guy over. "Take her home." The man nodded escorting me out of the cabin.

What am I supposed to say to my friends? Oh by the way Ronin the guy you all find annoying and horrible, his body guard took me at gun point uh huh yeah. Then he assigned me a mission to find serial killer, THAT'S GOING AROUND AND KILLING EVERYONE! Oh and by the way he is coming as my friend to your festival yep.

I opened the door to my apartment to be met by Kai, Cole, Zane, Lloyd, and Jay. "Um! What is everyone doing here?!"

"What are we doing?" Kai criticized approaching me in frustration as I shut the door slowly. "Where were you!" Kai continued.

"I was... out with a friend." I said making Lloyd scoff. "You made me think you were kidnapped. ALL OF US WERE WORRIED! If you didn't want to go my party you could have said so."

I rolled my eyes looking at Lloyd momentarily. "You had my location I was fine."

"Your text didn't seem fine me and Lloyd literally left the party in search for you." Cole spoke up.

"We all left our homes to make sure you were okay." Zane added on making me feel ashamed. I was taken against my will but I can't tell them that.

"I have a festival tomorrow! I can't be worrying about this kind of stuff!" Jay spazzed.

"I- I'm sorry. I suppose I got caught up in the moment." I admitted not making eye contact with anyone.

"Who were you with anyway?" Kai interrogated.

"I was with..." I trail off unsure. I can't possibly tell them but I can't lie to them either. "Ronin." I told quietly to see their shocked expression.

"Ronin?!" They all said unison.

Kai walked past me in fury. "You've got some nerve L/n." He said before leaving my apartment.

"I'm going with him it's not safe to be alone at night." Zane advised walking past me with a small nod.

"I can't believe you! Ronin is- Ugh!" Lloyd stormed out following Zane.

"Why?" Jay asked his voice very soft and not mad at all.

"I don't know..." I answered honestly for Cole and Jay to look at each other before leaving me alone in my apartment.

"What just happened?" I ask my voice cracking. I'm a horrible person. Ronin isn't even my friend but I couldn't tell them the truth.
