Starting to write this at 11.30 pm on 11.02. Let's see how long this chapter takes.

In this chapter, as we dive into volume 10 events, I decided to take my autonomy into my own hands and change the events a little bit more than usually, cus why follow something fully? Huh? I can make it better. or worse. You see for yourself.

27-02 Guess who got the Rona's (corona shit yay! I fuking hate the headaches.... )
And I got exams in 2 weeks. amazing right?
Well since I cant meet up with people, ill use this shit as therapy. Ill pretend as if this is my life and as if this is the bit of affection I get.
Hoping ill post this before march. It has a lot of original ideas too, but im afraid the state my head is in will make me forget whatever I write and make me re-read everything again (ive rewritten and reread up to chapter 11 that I wrote in my google docs.)

PLOT TWIST

After the battle was over, it soon became apparent that the night was setting in. A ceasefire was put into order, but it wouldn't necessary mean everyone would keep calm. Even so, the people listened to their leaders and left their weapons aside. As everyone of your group was putting tents down to sleep in for the night, Yuzuriha, Taiju and you decided to go somewhere more quiet to talk.
"I can't believe we were apart for a whole year!" Yuzuriha sighed.
"I can't either. But we had been for longer, petrification and all, remember?" You said, as they nodded.
"Well, we can at least put it behind us now." She said with a relief to which you all agreed.

"So, how did Tsukasa's Empire treat you?" You asked, more with worry than curiosity.
"It actually was not all that bad." Yuzuriha took the lead. "The work was exhausting, but that was only because I was piecing statues that had been broken apart in the after hours."
You looked at her in disbelief. "You can't be serious. I've seen to how small bits they broke when we entered the graveyard. Doing one must have took you several nights!"
"It did... It was awful work to be honest. But... I am hoping to see all these people walk around happily soon. It is something to look forward to." She smiled. After a second of silence she looked at Taiju. "And Taiju was not sitting around either. He often took to me the broken pieces and covered for me so I wouldn't be found out."
He smiled with a slight blush. "Nothing, really." You knew, their love for eachother was not perished, not even dimmed.
"But, Y/n, what is it now with you and Gen? I don't get it the slightest." Yuzuriha spoke softly, just trying not to get any unwanted guests to your conversation. "You are not actually dating, right?"
You smiled awkwardly. "Actually... We are." Yuzuriha looked at you in shock. "We had been for about...2 or 3 months now. I don't know. We haven't had the time yet to make a calendar, and asking Senku every few days for the date or counting all passing days don't seem like good plans."
"Y/n... I thought you... Never mind. If it makes you happy. " She said, holding a little piece of cloth in her hands, that she was trying to make into a doll.
"No. Not never mind. I do need to talk to you. You said to Tsukasa that I committed suicide to be with Senku in the afterlife! What kind of a sick joke was that? You were telling people I fell in love with someone which was not even true. You toyed with my life, Yuzuriha. Even if it was as an alibi for the Kingdom of Science, this excuse is terrible!" Your anger at the subject poured out and your words truly hurt Yuzuriha, who thought that she was doing the right thing.
"I did it to protect you, Y/n! Can't you see it then? What everyone else is seeing? You seem so blinded by love that you don't even recognise what you feel." She said, tears pouring from her eyes, as Taiju stood there not knowing what to do.
"I am being clueless? Me? I do not feel anything romantic towards Senku! He is and always will be my lab partner. That is what we are." You blurted out, then quickly changing the subject. "Yet you two, you seem to have just eyes for eachother. The way you and Taiju act is love. Yet here you are I am too blind to notice love when I have a loving partner? That is sort of one sided from you."
She cried a little, and Taiju didn't take it too well. He stepped in front of her and looked straight into your eyes. "That was our choice. I promised her I wont tell her what I wanted to tell on the day that we turned to stone, until we have fixed everything. Do not blame Yuzuriha for any of this, Y/n. You know better than this. Can't you see how you are hurting her now?" He asked, as occasionally a tear fell from his eyes.
You looked at him in silence. Then slowly, in realisation, looked away and down. He was right, you were overreacting at this situation. You had no right to shout at Yuzuriha for the fact that she saved your life and the lives of many others not ready to fight back in the day.
You nodded to him and moved past him. Then you approached your friend and sat by her side, hugging her gently. "I'm sorry..."
