So, SAMS has a chokehold on me. Good Eclipse made a return, and there was so much hilarious dialogue between him and Lunar, I honestly wanted to draw it all! But then I had an idea for a scene after the video, so I drew that as a little comic!

And since he's a mechanic, I decided to draw him doing mechanic stuff, kind of. I gave him a wrench, and to get out of drawing the accursed (semi-affectionate) frill collar, I gave him a lil' bandanna! I like to imagine that he has two outfits- one for daycare work, and one for mechanicin'. Bandanna, coveralls with the top part tied around his waist, big ol' clunky work boots, the works! He would probably also wear gloves but I didn't think of that until the lineart was done.
I also think it would be funny/cool if he wore a cap sometimes! Maybe if he's working somewhere bright, it keeps the light out of his optics. And he could also just wear it for the heck of it sometimes, and when he's especially focused in the hat's slanted funny. X3
As a little bonus, I'm gonna do something I don't usually do and post the lineart alone! Plus, it is a little hard to read his expressions since a lot of his palette is so dark. (Should I change it to be lighter because a good artist would? Probably. Am I? No. Jet black or bust!)

Also, I couldn't help noticing that his expression in the second panel is a lot like one of my Shu sprites from the troll/react series. Like, Shu's sad smile sprite? And I don't know if I was subconsciously doing it on purpose or not.
