Chapter 41- Toman vs Valhalla

-right after the interaction with Hanma-

"You know it's pathetic that you guys were beaten by him right?" you said to the people who were lying on the floor. "It seems I need to double the training.... Oh well! And you guys heard right? There's gonna be fight here tomorrow so you guys can rest up! Bye now~" And you left them to themselves.

"Is it just me... or did leader seem like she was in a bad mood...?" a guy quietly asked, trying not to be heard by you. "If you noticed then don't bring it up!" you yelled, scaring the individual, and continued to walk to your current residence.

'Baji didn't mention this fight was happening tomorrow! ....wtf Keisuke.... Wtf are you thinking....'

-the next day-

It was crowded. Both sides of the entrance stood the two gangs that's gonna fight today and you were struggling to get in without being caught by either side.

"Oi! Miss Fox! Over here~" a voice called out which got you on edge. "Shut your ass up! I don't want people to notice me!" you whisper yelled to the speaker as you made your way towards them.

"Sorry~ didn't know how else to get your attention"

Takemichi pov
"Wow.... Who are all these people?" I asked Chifuyu. "They're all spectators. Whoever wins the fight today will be a step closer in ruling Tokyo. It's caught the attention of all the influential delinquents" Chifuyu explained. "I see.... Looks like nothing but bad guys out here" I mumbled.

"You see that fatty over there? That's Leanman. He controls Ueno, apparently he's an absolute juggernaut. Over on the cars are the Haitani brothers, they rule all of Roppongi and can summon a hundred men with just one shout" Chifuyu pointed.

"What about that person who's walking towards them right now?" I asked him as I noticed a hooded person walk pass everyone. "Uhh.... I don't really recognize them..." Chifuyu said.

"Hahaaa~ Its party time!!!" a voice yelled, "Toman and Valhalla ain't shit! I'll be the overseer for todays fight in place of our leader. The names (random name) from Griffins!" they introduced. (You'll find out why this guy changed from the book soon)

"They're one of the bigger groups from 1988. He'll be our overseer today, like a referee" Chifuyu further explained when he saw my look.

"Now then! Fighters!!! Please make your entrance!"

"I swear that guy is so fucking loud for no reason..." I mumbled as I watched both Toman and Valhalla walk in.

After the whole intro and terms and agreements, and Kazutora punching r/n, the fight started. Though I was really just keeping an eye on Hanma and trying to find Kisaki.

'Where the hell did that fucker disappear to.....'

My eyes followed Hanma as he kicked Draken away from Mikey and left Kazutora with him.

'Tora....'

I couldn't help but remember the times we had together, the times when we were there for each other.

Flashback
"Ne~ Tora! Let's hang out today! Just the two of us!" you suggested when the both of you had arrived early for meeting. "Eh? Why?" he asked.

"Well... out of everyone, you're the only one who hasn't warmed up to me yet!" you stated, which was true. After Mikey had introduced you into the gang, everyone had tried to know you better except for Kazutora. Whenever you would get close to him, he would try and walk away or have someone else talk to you so he doesn't have to.
