Yamato x Y/N "Will you be my wife??...please?"

Pov : Yamato joined in the Straw Hats crew after they defeated Kaido

Y/N POV

"Yoo! Y/N!! Usopp and Franky are making a new invention wanna see?! It's suuupper cool!!"

Robin, Chopper and I went on to grab our clothes that dried off and placed them in our baskets as Luffy went out to fetch us

"What's up guys? What are you making this time??" I asked getting closer to Franky fixing something from the lower body of the machine

"Oh it's one of our newest inventions the Heat Cooler! It'll be nice to have this on with a hot sunny summer day like this"

I nodded my head in amusement agreeing and giving out an "ohh" sound

It does sound like a great idea! Now we won't have to deal with this hot weather for a long time

Just as we were about to head inside I saw our newest crew member Yamato coming out from his room but not before he bumped his head from the door frame and gave out an 'oof' sound grunting

"So I see it's not all the time that tall people get lucky huh" Usopp mumbled while Franky agreed

"Well our new crew member is quite tall" Robin giggled and Chopper tilted his head I'm confusion

"Yo guys sorry about that...I always forget that I'm too tall for that door.."

He stretched and yawned sitting down on our small cha- wait oh no-

"No no wait Yama!-"

Too late he sat down and fell down after a second later, he is just way too big for door frames and chairs..

"Uhh I think we should make something custom made just for Him Franky" Usopp and Franky Nodded and quickly got to work

Franky with the door frame while Usopp works on the big chairs

"You okay Buddy??" I stretched out my hand to Yamato as he Glady took it

I was about to fall down with him but thanks to Robin's extra pair of hands we both got up safely as she giggled

"You two are such clumsy cute little couple aren't you~?" She have us her devilish smirk as Yamato blushed hard as a tamato while I just stood there with a deadpanned face

"Your such a tease Robin" I sighed and playfully shrugged her shoulder while pulling Yamato away Robin asked where we headed to and I replied back

"Just somewhere where you guys aren't gonna disturb us"

When I said that sentence Yamato's face turned completely red assuming he thought of something else I tried my best to ignore it and stop snickering at his cute flustered behavior

"W-W-What was R-Robin-san talking about earlier?!?" Yamato cried out blush still not leaving his face while I grabbed his left hand and he covers half of his face with his right hand

"Relax buddy We're just gonna go grab something to eat then go to the crows nest" I replied chuckling

Yamato tilted his head as his face grows more concerned

"But Isn't Zoro-san up there?? Don't you think we might disturb him?"

I shrugged and told him it's gonna be alright since I asked Zoro that we will take over the nest for at least a few hours

In exchange I will help him find a new supplies to clean his swords and since he doesn't have any money I'd get to be the one paying

Either way it's a win-win for both of us so we were fine by that

Just then when we were about to enter the kitchen we were already greeted by Luffy throwing more foods to his mouth and gobble them all up in one to which leads to Sanji and Nami scolding and hitting him multiple times yet he still doesn't listen

"See? Told ya the Crow nest will be so much better" I chuckled as Yamato awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck nodding and grabbed his portion as well before Luffy eats them all

after we got our foods on our plates we head straight up to the Crow nest to peacefully eat our dinner.

Once we got comfortable I sighed in relief "well thank god that was over, Luffy seems more hungrier than before after our fight with your dad"

I stretched my arms while Yamato was chuckling rubbing the back of his neck with his hand

"Say....Y/N??.....I got a question for you if that's okay?" I can tell he was getting nervous so I gently and calmly nodded at him to continue on

Yamato huffed and breaths in and out calming himself down

"Okay...uhm...I know we have been keeping our relationship from them for a while now and uhm-"

He does that little thing where he plays with his fingers twirling them around while pointing his lips forwards avoiding my eyes

whenever Yamato does that it would mean that he is nervous about something

"I- Y/N....I know you probably still want to keep this a secret but...I really REALLY want everybody to know that we are officially together!" He blurted out with a blush on his cheeks, I didn't even notice my turned flush red as well

"Well...to be honest Yamako I really never minded if our relationship was a secret or not I just didn't want to tell everyone just yet, not until You are ready as well" I honestly answered him

Yamato then hugged me tightly and squeezed my waist tigthly causing me to gasp for air so he reluctantly let me go apologizing

"Y/N...will you do me the honor of becoming my bride??"

I never expected Yamato to ask such a proposal especially not at times like this where we are suppose to eat dinner first but-

I'm extremely happy that I have already forgotten that I was hungry at all

"So Y/N...will you be my wife?? Please??"

Giggling at the end of his sentence nodded my head and grinned ear to ear smiling happily

"R-Really?! You really mean it Y/N!?" Yamato's eyes were wide open and shocked he suddenly stood up from his chair and suddenly spinned me around the air

"Yes I would Love to become your wife Yamako" I smiled leaving Yamato in tears and hugged me tighter than before

"Yamako ....you weren't actually talking about how our relationship would be in public are you"

That made Yamato go silent for a moment and awkwardly chuckled avoiding my gaze, I sighed and chuckled patting his head

"Sorry....I was just nervous as all that's why I accidentally changed the subject on the spot but I swear I really DO want to marry you! And spend the rest of my days with you together!"

"Oh Yamako there is no need to overthink things through, You know I love you for You always just be yourself" I kissed his forehead and cuddled with him for a few minutes
"Hey Y/N??" Yamato asked breaking our hug to see me eye to eye

"Yes Yama??"

"I Love you"

I smiled and kissed his forehead replying

"I love you more"

( I dunno but Y/N calling Yamato Yamako sounds adorable

Since in my home country in the Philippines "Ko" means 'mine' or 'what belongs to me'

Example : Mahal "Ko"

Which means "My" Love

So calling Yamato as "Yamako" is also like saying

"My Yamato" lol )
