"Thea." I heard Luna say trying to wake me up. I was still asleep but she kept trying to wake me up to it must've been important. I opened my eyes slowly seeing her adorable little face.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"S-someone's at the door, and daddy's yelling at her, he told me to go upstairs but I-I'm scared."She told me making me instantly get up but still covering since I was still underdressed.

I checked the time seeing it was 3pm. I really slept that long? "Who's at the door Luna?"

"I don't know daddy yelled for me to go upstairs when I asked." She sniffed.

"Okay okay, don't cry." I soothed her. I got up and went into the bathroom getting ready. I did hear all of the yelling making me throw some clothes heading downstairs but I told Luna to stay in her room. When I went down I saw a woman at the door and Nicolas was yelling at her along with his men behind her and beside him.

"Why the fuck are you here? Who let her in?!" He shouted.

I guess they heard me go downstairs since they all looked at me. "What's going on?" I asked coming down the stairs.

"Oh so that's why you don't want me here? You have some slut becoming a mother to my daughter? Is that it Nicolas?" She scoffed.

"Daughter?" I breathed out looking at Nicolas.

"She's Luna's birth giver." He told me making me look at her. She really did resemble Luna except Luna's hair was brown and the lady's was blonde but she had her eyes.

"I am her mother." She said.

"No you are not Sierra. You have to actually be there and be a mother in order to be called a mother. All you did was fucking give birth to her. You didn't give a shit about my daughter you ran off." He said stepping to her.

"She's our daughter." She said glaring at him.

"No she isn't. She doesn't even know who you are. Why are you here? You need money? I'll give you all the money in the world to get out of her life permanently." He told her.

"I don't want your money I want my daughter. I was young and scared back then Nicolas. I'm not the same person as I was before.. I want to be a family with you and Luna." She sniffed.

He laughed and grabbed her by her neck quickly and whispered something in her ear. By the look on her face I can tell how scared she was from whatever he was telling her. "Nicolas." I called out grabbing him off of her. She started to cough gaining her breathing back.

"I want her out of my house." He said.

"Daddy?" Luna called out making us all turn around. I went over to her picking her up about to go back upstairs but the lady called out for her.

"Pumpkin? Put my daughter down now!" She yelled trying to run over but the guards caught her. "She's my daughter not yours!! She's my damn daughter!" She screamed.

I turned Luna around when the lady screamed something. She took a gun quickly making the guards let her go. She pointed it at everyone making me go towards the corner.

"Bring me my fucking daughter now." She said pointing it at Nicolas.

"Put the gun down Sierra." He told her. He didn't look scared at all. All of his guards had their gun pointed at her but hers was pointed at Nicolas so they didn't fire.

"Bring me my daughter!" She yelled.

I slowly looked at Nicolas and saw him nod. "She won't bring her out unless you put down the gun. I don't want you to scare her." He said. She nodded putting the gun away. I set Luna down and brought her making the woman start to cry a little.

"Pumpkin?" She smiled making Luna look at her confused. I walked her over to her and the woman bent down to Luna's height. "She's so beautiful." She smiled seeing her in her pink dress, and started to caress her hair.

"She looks just like you." She said referring to Nicolas. "Do you remember me?" She asked making Luna shake her head no. "I'm your mother pumpkin." She sniffed.

Luna looked up at Nicolas making him grab her hand. "It's okay Lu." She gave Luna a hug inhaling her scent.

"Why isn't she talking? What did you do to her?" She asked.

"It's because she doesn't know who you are." Nicolas told her making her glare at him.

"Daddy." She said going over to him making him pick her up.

"You turned her against me didn't you." She said.

"She doesn't know who you are Sierra. Thea take her back upstairs." He said giving Luna to me.

"What? No! No! You are not her mother I am!" She yelled trying to take out her gun again but the guards grabbed her.

"Get her the fuck out of my house now!" He shouted when I heard her yell some more while I took Luna upstairs. I went inside my room seeing Luna looking upset.

"Is she really my mother?" She asked.

"She is." I sighed.

"Why didn't she want me?" She sniffed. I gave her a hug soothing her while she poured her little heart out. A child should never cry like this, they should never feel this much pain. I think seeing her mother was harder than not seeing her.

I'll protect her from the all the things that can hurt her in the world even if I have to die doing it.
