"You never told me where we were going." I told him while he drove.

"I'm not suppose to." He said.

"Not suppose to?" I repeated.

"Just wait and see." He told me causing me to calm down.

"You never told me much about you.." I trailed off playing with my nails.

"There's really nothing to tell." He told me

"What do you do for work?" I asked.

"Business."

Well that was a stubborn answer. "Why are you like this?"

"Like what?"

"So... closed off?"

"I'm not." He told me.

"You are."

"Maybe." He said.

We'll have to fix that then.

After a few minutes I felt the car stop and he got out. I was about to open my door but felt it being pushed back. The door opened again and I saw Nicolas with his hand out. "Don't open your own doors around me." He said while I put my hand in his.

We walked up to the restaurant seeing some men open the door for us. When we got inside I saw that it was empty. "Where is everyone?" I asked.

"Tonight is only for us. I don't like surrounding myself with a bunch of people." He told me.

"Safety again?" I asked causing him to nod.

He grabbed my chair for me and we sat together. Hopefully he lets me in.

It's been a few minutes and he's been talking to me a bit mostly just asking me about myself. "Tell me something about you."

"What about me?" He asked.

I shrugged. "You just haven't really said anything about yourself only about me. I know you aren't a talker but just a small detail is all I need."

"Like what?"

"What about your parents? I never see them around." I told him,

"Mother passed away when I was little, father is usually around and helps but he's been in Greece for a while." He told me.

"Is that where your from?"

"No, I'm from Italy." He told me.

"Milan?"

"Venice."

"I always hear how nice it is over there. Did you grow up there or was just born there?"

"Grew up there, then when I turned 14 my parents wanted me to go to high school in America for a better experience."

"Was it bad over there or something?"

"No, they just wanted different." He told me making me nod. I'm glad he's opening up a bit.

"What happened to luna's mom if you don't mind me asking," I said. I know he seemed really angry from last time and how much he sounded like he hated her. I wanted him to get it off his chest.

"One night stand." He told me cutting into his steak.

"Did you usually do one night stands?" I asked squinting my eyes at him seeing him laugh.

"No, I haven't."

"I had to find her since they told me she quit her job it didn't take long to find her. I told her she could stay with me for a while until the baby is born and we'll get a DNA test. It was the worst 9 months of my life, I hated her. She always kept begging for one thing. Money. The second Luna was born I instantly got the dna test and she was indeed my daughter. The same day Luna was born and I came home seeing Luna in her crib, the next day her mother was gone. Out of sight. Never saw her again." He finished.

"So what happened after?"

"I raised Luna on my own. It was very hard but I did it."

"What if her mother comes back? Or tries to come back..?" I asked.

"She won't. I'll kill her if she does, and I'm sure she knows that." He said without hesitation. He saw my face making him chuckle a bit. "I'm joking Angel."

"Oh.. you did a great job with Luna .. you're a wonderful dad." I told him.

"I try my best."

"What did you mean by she knew who you were?"

"Oh.. she knew that I was a business man with lots of wealth." He told me but I couldn't tell if he was lying or not. Seemed like he was a little.

"I don't like when people lie to me."

"I'm not lying to you Angel, what would I lie about?"

"I-i don't know, but I could just tell sometimes." I shrugged.

"I'm not lying to you. About anything." He assured making me nod.

"Okay..."

"You still don't believe me?" He asked with a small grin.

"I do." I assured even if I was a little unsure causing him to nod.

Everything is going too good to overthink right now.
