"Good morning brother" Leo greeted me as Esmeralda and i walked down to the dining room. I gave him a nod in response and took my seat at the table, Esmeralda sitting right next to me.
Last night was great, the whole day was a dream, but today, it's going to be a nightmare, not for me, but for someone who has a few dues to clear out.
The breakfast was served as we all made some light conversations. Raya spoke about how I was a jerk to Esme, i rolled my eyes at her but deep inside i knew i was. There was a tiny conversation about Leo and Aria and how they were getting serious. But it was soon brushed of because my brother said and i quote "it's none of your fucking business" but the only thing he got in response was more teasing and laughing.
After a few minutes, i knew it was time to discuss what we all wanted to get over with. So i began, "So."
All eyes turned towards me "We all know we need to deal with Carlos, and the sooner the better." Despite of how angry i felt talking about me, a part of me was relieved at getting it over with.
"Si brother" Leo and Raya agreed.
"Good, we will get down to business after breakfast. Leo, you'll be joining me downstairs, Raya theres something else i need you working on, and Esme," i didn't know what to do. I knew she wanted to be by my side, but i dont know if i want her to encounter it all.
She placed her hand over mine seeing the tension in my eyes and said "I'll join you"
I sighed, not knowing what to say next, because we knew better than to argue with her.
"Fine, then it's settled, meet me down in an hour, and we will get this over with."
*After about an hour*
"Are you sure you are ready for this brother?" Leo asked as we walked down the corridor and stopped outside the door of the basement.
"We can always come back when you are ready" esmeralda said.
I took a long breath. I knew i was ready. I had been for a very long time, all that pain i felt, all the trauma i had to go through, it was time to get my payback, and today was the day.

We opened the door, and the sight infront of us was gnarly. There was blood everywhere, rusted knives, dimmed lights, scratches on the walls, a foul smell of flesh. And in between all of that, sitting on chair, was him. Carlo.
He looked like pulp, his face was covered in scars, his eyes were bleeding with sounds, his hands had knife marks all over them, his legs were tied to the chair and his head hanged sideways on his shoulder.
The sight crept a strange feeling of euphoria in me. My men had done a great job of taking care of him. I had warned them to. He looked like he was barely alive, waiting for his demise, but unfortunately that was not happening, not until i heard those three words from his mouth. And i was going to get them today.
